You'd think NTR/NTS fans would be okay with paying members getting to play the game first
The update seems to have blown up in size due to branching paths. On the one hand I am very glad that we will have different routes in the depending on the severity of the fetish. But on the other hand I am very fearful of how much time the development of the later updates will take

i don't know why you guys accept his excuses as truth. "wow there's just SO MUCH CONTENT i underestimated lol" is the PR spin. the much simpler explanation is much more likely: he's not working very hard and bullshitting constantly about his progress.
Maybe, but this statement of his will be very easy to fact check as soon as the update comes out. For now I lean towards believing that the update is really pretty considerable in size (considering how much time it took).
Oh yeah did you see how much content he gave after 8 months? When he was "working" on the new update then decided to just remake the game ... Even now after 2 time's delaying the update and still missed his goal of Friday
This update is supposed to come out soon. It will either have a significant amount content due to branching as Torimiata says or it will not. It is either or. His progress and the truthfulness of his words can be so easily checked. What point is there in bringing up the past when we are discussing the new update?
I understand that this is f95zone and we each need to fill our toxicity quota, but let's be objective for a second.
A couple things I want to say. First, I'm not upset about the delays I'm upset about the fact Tori promised us not to give release dates until things were ready to be released and then proceeds to do the same thing again. At this point you'd have to be a moron to trust him when he announces release dates.
Second, leaking the update early helps no one. The developer loses money and we put the game at risk of being cancelled. I understand the anger and the desire to do so but even though this is a piracy website we should still support the game and want to see it succeed even if we aren't happy with the dev.
Lastly, Torimiata mentioned last night in the discord (my time zone is US Pacific so it was 7pm my time) he still had a lot of work to do in terms of quality control/editing and polishing. I don't know why he announced yesterday/Friday as being the release date when he had so much work still to do.
Regardless, this update should be good. It features the end of the pool scene from what I know, which includes the truth/dare game where Ayumi almost went topless for Terrazza. Let's pray to the NTS gods and hope its a very titillating update.

Being objective. The update is more than a day late after being twice delayed at the last minute. No reason has been given. There has been no content added to the remake in over two months. There is no timetable for catching up to the original or dev timeline for developers.

Guys I understand why you're upset, but this isn't some corporation messing with you. It's a guy making a great game in his spare time. If you're not happy just unsub.

This is feeling really scamming yet. You say he making game on his spare time but its other people money on the line, he delayed two time plus promise to be delivery on friday this is actually goes to Sunday already. at first i heard about how tori is scamming people i don't want to believe it but now. maybe most of people was right about him. if he still not update anything on sunday im pulling unsub.

It's not a one-time purchase. You donate to support his project, and if you don't want to support it any longer then that is up to you. People forget what the word "donation" means. It's entirely voluntary and, in this context, usually is initiated when someone feels they want to support an artist beyond the use of words. I can *maybe* see how you have reason to be upset if you've been subbed since the start before the game went into remake, but even then it's still a decision YOU made and if you didn't take into consideration that it might not go as you expect, then maybe you should consider the fact that you're not mature enough to make these kinds of financial decisions.

I don't think he needs you to remind him it's his choice since he's already made that choice. He's entitled to feel that way, like it or not. But trying to chastise him for expecting a certain value for money spent is not it, chief. Why don't you stick with YOUR OWN choices, acknowledge other's without judgement and leave it at that?
