Blurring the Walls will ultimately end up like A Wife and Mother, never seeing any real content. It's obvious there won't be any development by 2026 either. At this rate of development, don't have any expectations; the developers' primary goal is simply to squeeze every last drop out of their sponsors.

Blurring the Walls' last real update was in May, so don't get your hopes up. It's a long way from reverting to older game content; 2026 is unlikely.

More seriously, development will resume soon.

IMO 2025 was a strong year in terms of development with 7 releases, +500 CGs / +100 Animations, plus a complete rewritten script with a lot of new story choices.

I agree that it's annoying that we are still in day3/4 territory but at this pace it should make for an interesting 2026 and I'm working really hard on the next update.

So we don't get a choice as to whether Ayumi flashes Terrace? I'd probably still go with it but what bugs me is that's forced, no choice.

This started off good for me but has been getting disappointing lately. So, even if we go down the 'Submissive Pet' path where MC is supposed to be more dominant one. Where they agree he is calling the shots, what she shows, who she shows it to..........that doesn't happen. Ayumi is still calling the shots and MC is just going along with it, not giving us a choice in the matter. No matter how many times she says she likes MC being more dominant. It's false.

I agree with most of what you said but disagree with the MC being very dominant. It's said quite often by him and Ayumi but he really doesn't have any control over what she does. Even though they both agreed that's what's supposed to happen. She says she wants to run naked in front of Terrace, unless he doesn't want her to. All he says is'....uhh.....ok'. You don't get an actual choice to say no. shrugs

I appreciate the feedback. I also received some ideas on the 'hot past' scene from the Submissive Pet crowd in recent weeks.

I get where you are coming from and agree with the analysis, so I'll make some minor adjustments.

Just be aware that despite the whole idea of exploring, the story requires certain moments to establish world and relationships.

What I mean is that despite the changes, it might still not fit that whole 'sandbox' experience that you are looking for. Terrace will see Ayumi naked during the hot tub scene and Terrace being attracted to both Ari and Ayumi, for example, isn't something you can toggle off.

Terrace is just too important as a friend to not be involved in some way. But it certainly doesn't mean you have to share Ayumi with him!

The MC is intentionally written as slightly shy - but it doesn't mean he can't be domminant/in control of the situations. Just not in the 'Ultra-Chad alpha' type trope - I will still review some of the worst offender sections.

I honestly don't mind that he saw her naked, it was just the whole 'he was supposed to be in control' and then he just faltered at that point that bugged me. lol And yes, I agree he can be shy and still be in control. And I get Terrace being attracted to Ayumi, you'd have to be dead not to be. But I am happy to hear we don't have to share Ayumi with him.

These comments make me feel better about continuing to play your game.

I'd be happy to agree if that's how it worked.
The problem is that the key distinguishing feature of a vanilla relationship is monogamy. And what you listed, besides cheating, is related to polygamy.

I wouldn't mind if this was added either. At least as an option through a toggle switch in the settings.

Ok. I'm playing through the pool party night with Ari/Terrace. Thank you for giving us a choice between Ari and Terrace. So far, every scene with Ari/Ayumi together has been hot. Especially when Ari made Ayumi come. That was so fucking hot! Ok, back to playing, need to finish.
