We all know we are getting the game for free. At least, most of us do. And even Patreons do not technically buy a game but sponsor the Devs out of the kindness of their hearts. And in all honesty, without them, this whole business model will fail. They are paying for the party. So why lie to them?
If Zip would simply stick to the message "update is ready when it is ready" there will be not much drama. Him breaking promises with lame excuses is what is causing all the negative energy and is disrespectful towards his paying supporters.
So, Zip, if you are reading this: great game, but spend your time working on updates rather than on shallow promises and spineless excuses.
