I mucked around with my save file and discovered that... lol
Could easily be countered by adjusting Liori's 30MP heal from being a flat 150 to being percentage based, similar to Blightwood toxin. And, similarly, adjust her MP/Stamina regen during rests from a flat 5, to also being percentage based. Oddly enough, as it stands now.. given that I've Mana Resonance trained her up to.. well.. over 500 MP now, she actually passively regens more mana per event tile than she does from resting.
I did.. mostly tune the party's HP back down though, since the Blightwood percentage damage was really only getting properly healed by the flat 20% hp regen from rest stops.
Also, it could just be a... bad/good rng thing, but it really, really seems like the +2 stat gains from 'perfect' Training events (as in, actual 'Training' tagged events in Blightwood) really only affect specific stats, such as PhysicalPower for MC, and Agility for Serin, rather than actually being random +2's. There's no stat increase display at the bottom for Training events, unlike Battle events which show exactly which stats are getting the +1's. So, I can't say for sure. Just, after over a dozen runs, MC's core stats in party status were all under 30, while literally every other party member had at least one stat that was over 100. Cracked open my save, and MC (still rylan_ in the save file) had an absurd Physical Power stat, while everything else seemed mostly untouched. I've since started doing Battle events instead of Training events, since the +1's are actually random, and seem to be balancing out the party properly.
Speaking of stats though.. What does 'vigor' actually.. do? Or, well, each stat for that matter. But, vigor most specifically, since it doesn't seem to be increasing max hp, or reducing 'damage' from Battles (which seem to be static; 72 for 'hard-fought', 48 for regular, and 24 fo 'perfect').
Especially monkey male, reminds me of Omniscient Reader's Sun Wukong. Looking forward to the final winner's renders!
