The "Revisit Nimeria" scene is actually part of Chapter 7, I just forgot to remove it from the public version. Updates will always be released on the first of each month.

I understand that many players would love to have all scenes available right away, but since this game is being developed by a single person having to run another full time job, and it's only been about five months of development, I think having over 170k words and more than 4500 images is already quite a lot of content.
this is my first time seeing this game so I'm happy it is coming along well

very sad i have to restart my playthrough since i spent so long grinding all the gay content and getting all the gay stats up but thats okay. Also i wanted to ask, is there a planned gay harem route? i think it would be really funny to get seryk and thalor together lol even if its only by proxy of the protag

Yes, there is a gay harem route planned.
Most of their scenes will still happen through the MC though.

Thanks that was very helpful and answered my questions. Also if I may be so bold, I do have a recommendation for the game. I'd love to see more control over the players actions. Things like stat gains or even whether or not I want to see content (like the NTR stuff) is behind a random dice roll. This makes it feel like I'm playing some type of kinetic novel instead of building this character the way I want to. Since the combat is also automatic, it kinda makes the combat stats feel pointless as well, since I don't actually get to do anything. Finally, I would really like it if the game focused more on the MC instead of getting all these flashbacks and perspectives of other characters. I don't really know if the game is supposed to be a multiple character playthrough type of deal or not, but I just feel like if i'm making my character and choosing my stats and stuff, the game should be more focused around him. Anyways that's my 2 cents on the game, I actually really liked it a lot. I just had those gripes about it and felt like it could be so much more than what it currently is at the moment. Keep up the good work dev.
I usually just ignore bad reviews that say stuff like 'not my kind of game, didn't read the description' or 'this game is trash because I don't like it.' but a lot of what you wrote is simply not correct and might mislead new players. Many of these points were already addressed two months ago, but I will go through them again here.

1. The combat system
Since the last update the combat system is fully turn based, not an auto battler, but it seems you didn't even play beyond the prologue. It seems you also did not unlock lust attacks, resource abilities, or any of the systems that open up after the first chapters. Judging from the points you mentioned, it seems you stopped very early.

2. Dice rolls and content
There is a huge amount of choices in the game, and all major content is very clearly marked with big warnings. If you pick a fetish several times, yes, the game will track that and adjust. None of the extreme content forces itself onto you.

You also made it sound like you get locked into NTR or forced to see NTR scenes. That is simply incorrect.
For example:
  • The first Mariel night visit has only a 20% chance to fail, and you have multiple action points to stop it even if the first roll fails. And even if you could simply jump back.
  • Every other NTR-related scene is entirely choice based and after you declined you don't even get any NTR based choices for that character in the future.
  • Futa, genderbend, mother transformation, gay content etc. are not behind resistance rolls at all. You have to choose them willingly.

Even if you fail a resistance roll, you can always go back one passage.

3. Story length, multiple POV, and pacing
Yes, the game is extremely story focused and switches POVs. This is not a secret. It is written directly in the store description and also on the very first screen when you start the game. I literally cannot make the warning bigger.
2.png

Some people enjoy deep character backstories and world building, others prefer a lighter style. That part comes down to taste.

4. Combat consequences
You wrote that losing a fight has no consequences. Correct, and that is intentional. The game can take 10 hours or more depending on how you play. If I made every boss a hard fail state, players who enjoy only certain routes or who do not grind would get soft-locked. Instead of punishing players, fights reward you with resources so you can upgrade buildings, unlock outfits, lingerie, and other mechanics at your pace.

5. "Kinetic novel" claim
Calling it a kinetic novel is misleading. Your choices matter, major content is locked behind user decisions, you have relationship paths, night and morning visits, unlockable events, city building, scalable battles, and a dynamic combat system. A kinetic novel offers none of this.

It is completely fine if the game is not for you, but many of the claims in your review are factually wrong based on very early versions or based on stopping after the prologue.

I wonder if you just had a particularly bad day today. I thought chaosbox24's post, written long before turn-based combat had been added, was very polite and respectful. It even ended with " I actually really liked it a lot.… Keep up the good work dev."

I like the game as well, despite a few AI-related niggles, becoming a paying Patreon member only recently. I suspect you have been under some stress and have vented at the wrong target.

Thanks! Just to clarify, my response was specifically about the 2 star review he left today, not the post itself. And no, I didn't have a bad day, and I'm not the type to take things out on others. I just really don't like when misleading information gets spread, that's all.

Ah. Now I understand. I hadn't seen the review so thank you for the explanation. It does seem rather odd to me that they would wait ten weeks to write a review then do so without playing a recent version.

I realy like the settings, the writing is pretty good as I said before (but to tell you that again couldn't hurt ^^). As a game I'm still debatting, I mean not just for the fetish but as a player. It's definitely interesting but I only played the public version so I guess there is a lot I didn't see yet from what I read here. But you seems to have the ambitions to make a real game that you could play for the fun of gaming. Good but it's not an easy task.
Also you are really enthousiast we can feel it and see it from how you talk to us. That gives very good vibes and it's intriging as you seems very passionate to finish your work. So courage and good luck!
Some questions : I tried to change some fetish using the soulforge but my modifications where always reversed as they didn't happen, why is that. Is something I do wrongly?
How the dreams work (it's a very good idea I must say)? I tried to choose only dream where the MC is a sub but I got the feeling (maybe wrongly) that block the advance of the stories. Also I didn't understand how to open the others people dream. Can you tell us more also how does that impact the "real" life of the characters? Besides the fetish upgrade I mean.

That's actually a pretty significant issue with posting anything (or even reading anything in the threads) with games in development that change systems part way through.
Were I to go back and read posts earlier on, a lot of it (including (parts of) my own prior posts) just isn't applicable any more.

First of all, thank you so much for the kind words!

About the Soul Forge issue:
Are you maybe playing on an older build? In the current version the fetish changes should stick without any problems. I just double-checked it on my side and couldn't reproduce the issue, so updating might fix it.

Regarding the dreams system:
For now, only dreams involving the MC are available. Some dreams unlock based on:
  • transformation choices
  • certain story choices
  • your MC's gay value
  • story progression
  • and a few other variables
Choosing only submissive dreams won't block story progress. Going for submissive dreams won't lock you out of dominant ones and vice versa either. I intentionally designed it that way, since in real life people can have mixed dynamics too.

There aren't dreams for other characters yet, so that's why you can’t access them.

How dreams affect the story right now:
Mainly through flavor and hidden interactions. For example:
  • Seryk and MC blushing after the handjob scene if you had the matching dream
  • A secret Sora blowjob scene that only appears if you had his dream before meeting him again in Chapter 7
  • Some dialogue variations depending on your dream choices
Starting around 0.8 or 0.9, dreams will become much more impactful. There will be more explicit corruption-based dreams that can unlock scene progressions in "real life" too.

How to fix Error: the passage "Ch7ThalorMorningTraining" does not exist
hmm, seems like you ran into a bug, that let you progress after the Chapter 6 ending. The passage is chapter 7 content so not available in the public release yet. If you share a save I can jump you back to before the chapter 6 ending.

This a top tier game at this moment lol.
This is genuinely an amazing game.
Bonds Defiled is definitely cooking us a feast!

Some questions:
1. Did a Sora scene disappear? IIRC, in 5.x there was an encounter where the MC returned home and Sora was in his bedroom. This led to an H-scene choice. In 6.x, I don't recall encountering that scene. (Maybe I took a different branch? Or accidentally blitzed past it real quick? Did this scene get altered into the wake-up-and-Sora's-there scene?) Apologies if this is vague.
2. When masturbating during dungeon exploration, what determines who discovers the MC? (In my save, it always seems to be Seryk.) Affection and Attraction for other chars is much higher.
3. Do you have plans to make lust "problematic" for the party during dungeon exploration? Currently, there does not appear to be any consequence. Maybe you have future plans for NTR risk during rest stops, or other risk-vs-reward outcomes?

edit: As a suggestion, it'd be great if we could reorder Blessings and Corruptions in the Soul Forge. As the list grows (and our heroes become more depraved), reordering these may simplify clustering or scratch an OCD itch.

Thanks!
  1. No, the Sora scene didn’t disappear.
When you first meet him and he shows off his assets, there's a choice about whether you find him attractive. That choice determines the later content.
In 6.x the follow-up is still there, he wakes up next to you asking for a wake-up kiss. That one doesn't lead into an H-scene. So you didn't miss anything.
  2. Who catches you masturbating in the dungeon depends on the filters tied to previous choices:
    • Serin if you triggered the Chapter 4 masturbation punishment.
    • Nimeria if you got her Chapter 4 handjob scene.
    • Seryk if your gayValue > 1.
  3. I do plan to make Lust more impactful:
Higher Lust will eventually lower certain stats during exploration and combat.
And if Lust gets high enough during battle, party members may start groping each other or interrupting turns, so it becomes an actual risk-and-reward mechanic instead of being harmless.

Bonus:
I'll also look into separating Corruptions and Blessings in the Soul Forge.
