The best way for accountability is for the people who are subscribed to him on subscribestar and patreon to unsubscribe. They want to get the release first and not have to wait the half day or day for it to be pirated when it is released, but on the flipside they are enabling him to release his product whenever he feels like it because they are paying him in anticipation instead of paying him for a product.
He can play that game all day. And he's playing that game straight to the bank. Again the conversion rate is 42 uruguay to 1 usd. Do that math. He's making hella money.
They don't realize that they could actually hurry him along by not paying him. He's not going to make the money he's making now where he lives doing anything BUT this and that is because he is getting paid by the conversation of usd to whatever the hell Uruguay's currency is called. Its not that Uruguay doesn't have what would be high paying jobs in other countries, its that they don't get paid for them like the US would.
It's the same with almost all creators, even the ones that don't produce are sustaining themselves with basically charity from the true believers of their fanbase in the hopes that one day they might release something.
His subscribestar would have to drop drastically for him to take it seriously, because he could still be living comfortably for a while. From there he would either get mad and quit, or he would hurry the f up. At least you'd know one way or the other.
But since again, he can't make that kind of money down there doing anything but this, I suspect he would hurry up with the releases.
This man is basically living a millionaires life right now. 3885 x 12 months=46620 usd a year, times 46620 x 42= 1,958,040 Uruguay pesos. That would be approximate and who knows about taxes and what things would cost (maybe services and what not would be more expensive, and I don't know how cuts with patreon and subscribestar work) but even if you knock off a couple of hundred thousand off, that is still ridiculous money per year he's accruing. The goals he's shooting for in his subscribestar people think are tongue and cheek? Not so sure.
