Y'know man, I'm not sure if I like or dislike you, Golem. Cuz I was skeptical as all hell (more like in outright disbelief) when I heard Bones was back and actually working on an update but you're slowly convincing me that it might be plausible after all. I'm still not sure if that's a good thing.

I had come to the conclusion awhile ago that the F95 community for The Manor was becoming overly toxic and began developing a culture of blind and immediate pessimism/skepticism, I also noticed that a handful of individuals seemed to be the loudest voices when it came to these things. Although I myself fell in line with the culture, not only with things like repeating the simple jokes the community made here, but even with things that I really shouldn't have said at all. I always had apprehensions about it for a few reasons, the primary reason being the issue of a lack of information for all of us here, I knew that to a degree I shouldn't be jumping to conclusions when I didn't know all of the information that was available, though with that being said, there are still limits to how much can be excused with "I didn't know it all". This issue of a lack of information here was a long-term problem, which became worse when Doc stopped being active here entirely. Doc has actually stated he is apprehensive about returning to F95 because of how toxic it became overtime, though he understands that it is deserved to whatever capacity.

I decided that I could easily fill in the roll of the guy that provided information, as I wanted to watch the streams myself out of curiosity, and that I could do it consistently unlike those random members who would only occasionally share content that they saw on the streams. Not only did the stream line up very well with my schedule, but when Doc stopped streaming at times that I wouldn't be able to attend the streams for, I had members of the Discord community, most notably Bluecollarotaku86 collect screenshots and video on my behalf. It helped a lot that a lot of the Discord users seemed to know who I was because of my work on the guide, so I had an easy time getting information, in fact even Doc would often respond to my questions so I could not only get more information for people here, but I could also ask questions from other F95 users.

Watching the streams slowly faded away my feelings of pessimism, I saw that the atmosphere of the Discord group was incredibly positive, and I got to see first hand how Doc would animate and draw new scenes, which all seemed to be better in quality compared to what the game currently has. I also saw his work ethic, he did have a bit where he wasn't streaming much for a week, but he was then very consistent, did multiple streams a day, longer streams (up to 10+ hours) and would even stream on days that were meant to be days off. I had also seen the rate of production, seeing many individual scenes put together. At the same time while in the Discord, I could read the comments that other members made and I could slowly piece together what were considered the norms there, though I'm far from an expert for now. I've come to the conclusion that I don't really need to be worried about whether or not Doc gets the update out on time, even if he is late it's likely to still come out this month, with the only potential cause for delay being unplanned new scenes and extra work popping up last minute. Such as the Vera scene that I convinced him to make, as well as the content that other Discord users got, being the Vera + Dog scene getting more scenes/variations.

I completely agree, I told Doc he should return to F95 after he gets this update and the next out on time. But I really stressed the fact that he needs them both out on time. I also told him to focus on the scenes and work he did for this upcoming update that can easily be given variations, it's an easy way to put out more content with less work. Such as the Vera scene he most recently did getting a sex variant, though I'm not sure if he'll go through with it.

Vera is getting a good amount of new content so odds are that type of scene is in there. Doc also mentioned something about Vera punching David being added to the game, it's meant to happen right after he spanks her ass as he walks by but there might be more to it.

I do agree that the thread was massively toxic for a while (and won't deny I was part of the problem once or twice) but yeah. I actually do believe work is being done nowadays and that I do think an update will come out. Even if it isn't on time, I also don't think it'll be massively delayed like it was in the past (hopefully). In the end though... it's not that deep. It's just a porn game. Good job being the info guy though. And props to Bones since he's actually doing work now.

It's implied that Doyle was the same with his family as MC, soI think it's not Doyle, but his mothers ghostdoing the possession.
It's only a guess though, imo it would be pretty strange for Doyle to possess her and have a POV shot from the mothers perspective lol.

This is why a Doyle expansion is needed to know more context and motivations about him Elizabeth and Beth.

It's likely that he'll get the update out on time or soon to it at the very least. It's also likely that he'll have an easier time with the following update since the one he's working on now involved a bit of work that he can build off of.

Doc just show's you all, that he literally did nothing for 1.5 years. He produces content in the last 3 (or 4?) weeks, that is usually in one of his bigger updates that take like 6 months. He doesn't moan, he doesn't complain. A straighter lie to the face is IMHO not possible. But you all do you. I'm sitting here laughing.

We still do not know if the story about the Stones is true or not, so I give him the benefit of the doubt. But even then, he could have produced 1-2 scenes in 3 months (eaaaassily) when he has a good phase and deliver content.

The game is clearly being worked on, the quantity of new content when taking into consideration the time to scenes to quality ratio is roughly equal, and possibly greater to that of the past.

I mean it's the same cycle every time now: the update gets close > people refuse to believe it and complain > update comes out > same group stops complaining > one month later they complain again. If you haven't put any money into it, then you're simply not invested into the game in any capacity and have nothing to lose, but all you do is gain. I see no reason why that is an issue for you if you're getting free content, while having all the other games on F95 available for free as well. This is a pirate site, you're not meant to care about money here whatsoever, we're STEALING. There is more free incest and bestiality porn/hentai available on the internet than there three of you could ever watch in your entire lives.

I've been watching the game for years, I have been critical of Doc's tardiness multiple times in the past, and I've shared concerns on the validity of his kidney stones issues, I'm far from being a white knight so to speak. Only somewhat recently have I joined the Discord and the atmosphere amongst the members there is wildly more positive than what we see here, one of the underlying themes that has popped up is that Doc has recovered from whatever issues he had in the past, it seems like he actually had significant medical issues. And from what I've seen, in terms of the work flow that I saw, I can't say that I disagree with them, he seems to be consistently working at a adequately high level of productivity.

To simplify things for you three and every one else who has similar views:

I'm more involved than you, I know more than you and I have no concerns about the update or the state of development. Even if there is a delay, it would be a small one caused in part by new content that some players managed to get Doc to make, including the Vera kitchen scene which was my idea.

I had predicted in the past that Doc would have performance anxiety to get the update out on time and I was correct, he verbally claimed it himself on a stream.

I had predicted when the update could come out and I seem to be correct so far.

Doc did say there would be a significant plot/story event coming up, he said that the song "Dreamreader" by the band Nightingale has a hint in the lyrics.

I have no doubt the update is coming. Maybe even very soon, maybe next year. Doesn't matter. Of course I want more content, the game is great in theory. But Doc has been so undependable in the last years, I think a decent amount of skepticism is very warranted. I'm aware that im no patron of his (I actually was for a very short time back in the day) and I have no right to demand anything for free. And I don't.
I'd love to see the game completed in my lifetime. Maybe I will, it would be nice.
But don't expect me or anyone to get hyped because Doc seems to be working again right now. He's done that in the past, made big promises, then disappeared for a year again. Maybe it will be different this time, maybe not. Who cares.

What does this statement mean? On or around June 14 one of two things will happen: an update will come out, or it will not. If it does, you will have been correct. If it does not, you will have been wrong. In the meantime, there is no such thing as "being correct so far".

Bones has broken promises before. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.
