No way he is close to finishing the game. The story hasn't moved forward that much. Mia was introduced over a year ago and there is almost no new changes for her.

Did you already had sex with her after the bathroom hj? I believe you need to replay that scene twice so she "invites" you to her room, then at midnight she should be near the fireplace.

Two of the 3 state options leads to you getting a scene and one gets you no scene (also gets the girls to stop sexual acts with you), I suppose you're correct that someone would need 3 saves in order to get all states however it's quite obvious that the worst option (no scene - and no more sex scenes) is a complete waste of time and not worth the investment in terms of both time and effort.
