Well, you did say it and it is kinda too late to take it back now.
I will just said...
welp, yeah, not your brightest moment there my calcium rich friend
Low calcium move, nglwelp, yeah, not your brightest moment there my calcium rich friend
Yes, I want less evil. Why tf would I want more?Meant that half-jokingly but okay let me retort.
"If you always vote for the lesser of two evils, you will always have evil, and you will always have less."
How it captivates me? Okay get your hipster, "hentai is art" lookin ass outa here. Im just here to fapI agree.
That some '' experienced '' studios release versions of rpg with boring stories, repetitive one of the other and with animations that contribute little does not have any goal.
It's a point for independent developers who, with little help, started hitting hard. I don't think Dr. Bones stands out so much for the graphics but for the story it offers and how it captivates you.
You have done it to yourself my dear skeleton doctor, now take response for it. Goddamn the thread have dive very deep too
Comment in spanish that there is no possible translation because it is a very local joke of the developer's country, it has to do with moving forward with the project. : Dale papáaaaa, ponete las pilas, seguro que sos hincha de Peñarol.
i can´t fully agree with your statement. the patreon money is not a gift but an investment to get something out of it and so it is understandable that people are angry that month after month nothing goes forward and instead of finishing one project he starts other projects and doesn´t even says regularly how the progress is.I would like to say something else, although nobody cares:
Patreon donations are supportive. Support for promises, support because you believe in the artist, support because you want to guarantee the flow of content that you like but ... How much should be paid? $ 1? $ 2? $ 5? $ 1000.5?
If you were paying an exorbitant sum each month, I would understand your anger. But if you pay the equivalent of a loaf of bread, a can of Coke ... I imagine you can surely afford it. A person who pays $ 25 and does not see results as the months go by, can stop paying ... Or he can go on to pay the minimum amount, which continues to be support but at the lowest cost. And something undeniable is that when the artist who is, takes 2-3 months without working on his game and deposits $ 500-10,000 in his bank, he knows that continuing to work that is easy money. How stupid would pass up that source of income?
Therefore, and this is the point I wanted to get to, investing the equivalent of 1 coffee, a loaf of bread, a bone dildo ... it is NEVER a waste. There are worse ways to waste your money than investing your money in the artist you like.
The first option. Currently that's all the content in existence. The game stands still, I can't open anything new. Do you need to wait for updates or should the credits start there if the end has passed?

i´m full of sincere thankfulness of the work that stands behin bones tales the manor, be it the programming, the artwork and everything else, but in the end i can understand when people say they give money in the hope to get a update to the game, not even the finished game but a little update, and month after month nothing comes around. for 60$ you can get a AAA game with enough content and gamedesign that hooks you for a full month or even longer. nobody can really compare the workload behind a AAA game with bones tales, but psychology is not reasonable.
In my opinion much of the grievance and hate would be avoidable if he gives weekly updates if and what he is working on OR he makes money goals like XXX,XX $ and you get a update in X months.
i love this game and if i hade the money i would pay not less than 20$ for the actual version, but only once, because there are enough timesinks out there with better or comparable content that are free or in the price range of 20$ to 60$ that are finished.
Yeah, it doesnt matter all that much how much it takes (i mean not all that much but still some proof of him being alive/undead its necessary) as long as he finishes the game with all the intended features (and if more im not gonna say no to them XD)Comment in spanish that there is no possible translation because it is a very local joke of the developer's country, it has to do with moving forward with the project. : Dale papáaaaa, ponete las pilas, seguro que sos hincha de Peñarol.(Fuera de broma: Demora lo que quieras pero terminalo, sólo te pido eso, es un juegazo)
Dr. Bones real quietI agree, partially.
As I said at the beginning, being a patreon means believing in the content creator or wanting to guarantee the flow of content. If over the months (and years) the updates are null or minimal. The foolish thing would be to keep paying.
I was referring more to the case of a potential developer who is simply having a bad time, and continuing to support him can encourage him to continue when he comes out of that bad streak.

Nobody deserves our money for doing nothing. A cheat is a cheat, and I wasn't even trying to justify that. But that's not why small developers who are responsible and strive to provide content on a regular basis should not pay for this. Dont you think?
