Doc is finishing the update, he ended up having alot bugs and he is fixing them. Once again the wait game, probably end of this month we will see the update.

Imagine, the worst case scenario, he stops doing builds and just run away (like some patreons already did), all the effort put in the guys "defending" him cuz "is just one guy" "he has a life 2" "come on, be patient, he is gonna do a huge update!" "It's better quality than quantity", not to be pesimist or hater like some guys like to say, I'm just realistic here, I was a donor for the first months, but what I hate the most is unpunctuality, wish him luck though, he is a nice guy and his art is really impressive

He is earning around 73 thousand bucks in his country currency. (I know some things might have inflation there, but still is a good amount of money.) My brother earns 400 dolars in his patreon and is already enough for him to make his life better and we live in Brazil, the disparity between dolar and our currency isn't as big.
He would be throwing money to the trash if he simply vanished

I second RWaites Jr, reload from an earlier save before you took the ring. Another possibility is to search the thread for the save game editor. Can't recall the name of it right now.

The current exchange rate is 1 dollar to 32 uruguayan pesos, so yeah. He literally doesn't have a single reason to run away and abandon the project. He gets some good money, I think, even with patreon taking their cut of the money. The fact that he's gonna pause Patreon payments if the update doesn't come before december should speak for itself.

I've seen other creators vanish for months at a time, while keeping their patreon active. That's a scummy move, Bones on the other hand seems like a stand up guy as far as we've seen. Also, one should keep in mind that this particular update seems to be larger than prior ones. Many new scenes are added and some of the new features which were started in the previous update will be expanded upon.

I totally agree with this, that made me think in a worst scenario, one thing that happened recently, "yeah yeah... just give me one more month and I well finish it!" *one month later* "I fished it, they can resist another 2 month" *another 2 months later* "it is here!"

Nope, I am just a reasonable person who likes the game, I try to point N00BS to the available resources to help them enjoy the game without spamming the hell out of the thread and do try to fend off the negative people, we are all waiting for the release, some just bitch constantly about it.

Cookie does live streams where he gives a ton of information about his updates and a again he as an entire team to help dr bones is doing this by himself and from what i understand if this update is not finished by this month he/she will turn off payment on patreon a lot of other devs dont do that

You been over there? A lot more than they used to. It has taken it's toll. It's one of several reasons I don't donate.

Everyone hating on Dr.Bones, i hope you enjoyed no nut november. Next time you want to complain about a dev and dates and so forth, make sure to realize: you have probably never made a game, attempted or put in effort towards something that requires that level of focus and concentration. Lay off. If you have, look at how annoying it was to have people goad you on the whole time.

Mozart's best piece wasn't made because someone wanted him to make it, but instead because HE wanted to make it.

The game will get released when it gets released. You all act like this game was supposed to be finished 2 years ago or something.

It takes time. It takes effort, and it takes calm and collected people "helping" not hurting the work flow. If you would please cease the constant badgering and attacking of all devs that don't make what you want them to and just give the man good vibes we might actually get the update by Christmas.

If you can't get behind that, you could always go and make your own game. If you do, i support you in your endeavor. Good luck.
