Well a lot of fans still have hope that's why there are 1319 pages and Bones keep those poor naive fools indoctrinated with his lame messages full of excuses.

I think most of creators lacks of time resources or skill and they rather spend their effort on something else.

In reality this game hasn't made any real progress since 2021 at best. A scene there, a revision there isn't an update but a patch at best.
