I watched part of Doc's stream today, he drew a scene of Mia, she's taking apart a clock and looking at it's gears.
Edit: I really watched most of the stream it seems, he only made the one piece of artwork and didn't really talk that much, he was more talkative in the previous stream I watched.

Alright here's a working MZ build. Aside from the images being upscaled, the game now has native mouse support. I really just made this for myself, so I'll only be updating major bugs I come across, if any.

Known bugs:
- Diary can only be opened from your inventory, and the text is off center
- Some doors only open if you click the tile in front of them
- Some character bubbles are scuffed (Luciles morning and shower icons)
- Save is randomly locked at times (this always fixes itself before it becomes a problem for me)
- Diamond quest wont progress after giving the bag to one of the girls fixed
- "Spend day with Mia" not appearing fixed

Honestly, with how development seems to be going. I think we should want the dev to have a more focused approach. Adding more characters just adds more complexity to the game that will bog down development.

I already think Mia causes a lot of problems for development as to really integrate her into the game, to not make her feel tacked on, a lot of scenes need to be changed.

And considering grammar and spelling are pretty bad at times in some additions...I rather the dev focus on the "default" state of the current cast and then think about expanding the scope. Saves the dev both time and effort that way.

Out of sheer curiosity I decided to play this game again with the new updates... something I immediately noticed was that sometimes the text would crawl beyond the box or basic grammar mistakes that weren't there before. But what caught me off-guard was that if for whatever reason you max out the bonds with all the women before meeting Doyle, at the point in which you try to advance with Lucile through the hole... Doyle is mentioned yet the player has never met him. It's pretty obvious that you're supposed to get Doyle pretty early on yet it isn't accounted for if you avoid meeting him at all. Heck, I even experienced the an event that I thought you needed to at least allow possession with Doyle first. Since at that point I had only interacted with Doyle ONCE and yet the event still triggered as if I had already gotten to know Doyle when it should at least have done so AFTER allowing possession. It will be grindy always to try and catch up to the new stuff which I imagine won't take long given the shabby update cycle. In regards to the new scenes and I think a few that got updated... it is quite rough. On the one hand I appreciate the transparency on the other it bugs the shit out of me that a serviceable scene is being replaced and other scenes aren't even implemented yet. To this day we still don't have fun in the kitchen, different Yoga poses + with Lucile, I think the record player options got scrapped, and David's front facing sprite always looks weird with beady eyes compared to how they look from the side. But thankfully because I already had experience this game before I was able to navigate things a little better but was briefly stumped on Vera's progression because of just how tedious it is to track her down sometimes. On that note, it's weird to see dialogue mention how both virginities were taken by the player yet Vera's isn't even taken by the player which it is implied to either have already been lost by her Ex or the Dog if you chose the Beasty option. It isn't consistent with either choice you make. The updated scenes do look a little better but I do miss some of the charm from the older scenes. Though what I don't miss are the times when sprites will clip into the background, Vera's bathroom scene still has a stray pixel in the air, your head during the bedroom scene with Vera (where she ties you down on your bed), Cum dripping in the wrong place during one of Lucile's scene and that's just what I remember off hand.
If there was something I'd like to see would be either an All scene unlock option or any sort of means to properly witness alternate scenes and the Holiday events (I do not remember how to activate them even if they're non-canon). It's very VERY annoying trying to find all of the variations since this is in RPGMaker and now say Renpy where you can just skip dialogue your way OR make a quick save that you can activate and unlock said scenes for later in the Gallery (IF the developer is generous enough to provide). That and you don't really have much choice in regards to speeding up dialogue or scenes you've already experienced since it's all at a set speed even with the Ctrl key. Heck even when viewing scenes from the Dream Gallery, if for whatever you accidentally select a scene you didn't want you can't back out of it or skip it entirely. I don't think I've unlocked all of the scenes since there are a few that are missing: The 6th Candle right across from the Fireplace, Vera's 4th Candle (I'm not sure if it's something that's a result from the alternate paths), Martha's 4th Candle as well and Lucile's last candle. I cannot discern whether they're a hidden scene or requires more setup like with Lucile getting stuck in a bush requiring that you ask the dog to help out in Hide and Seek.
Either way... there's a lot that hasn't been fixed, implemented, and ultimately the story is stuck right where it is. This game deserves much of the criticism and scrutiny levied at it. I still laugh at a couple of the moments in this game, notably when getting caught by Vera and being chased back to your room Doyle just dips like that Vanishing meme. Honestly there should be fanart of that where Vera's just about to break into your room and Doyle just does the V sign and fades away. Like there is prime opportunity to be way funnier than it is present. I mean it when I say this but, I hope the developer figures out where it needs to go and finishes, flaws and all. Because as of version 0.20a it doesn't feel anywhere near where it should be. Who knows when the next update is, I sure as hell didn't think it'd stagger this badly when I learned about this game back in 2019.

This game was made using very old rpgm. Bones can't be bothered moving game to new engine (currently working on 0.20B, potential release date: soon after 0.20A)

If I remember correctly... there was a mod made for the game to accept Mouse controls. It was with the AI Upscaling post.

I think we can assume most developers function under the Linkara Power Rangers Rant rule: It'll be out when its out. It's good work ethic. But I imagine given how long he's been dragging out these updates... it isn't something he wants to hear especially given the track record of releasing these updates in the first place. I can't defend the man being unable to give a release date or an estimated release like with other developers. At least given the context that people have stopped believing in Dr. Bones with trust between him and most of people here who were banned from the server being burned. He's in a situation where he can't satisfy any of us with what he says, whether it is from a poor form of communication or as many have criticized his competency as a developer and his late releases, I do not think it was wise to have done a build-by-build structure with this game. Because now he is effectively stuck with a hungry and nearly apathetic audience he has to satiate while at the same time protecting his ego. If I remember right, there was another project he had before abandoning it since there wasn't as much interest compared to this project. I'm sure people will have many stories to share once this game either finishes or reaches a conclusion in development.

He's working with updates, he failed to deliver a complete update more than a year ago, he must have an estimated date of release for the next update minimum. It's the same with every developer that use monthly support plataforms, it's not a Kickstarter to fund a project.

He is indeed with another project that I'm sure it's not being worked on at all, and now he's doing commissions, work that doesn't go to the game, there's literally no excuse that could work at this point.
