I had a discussion with Doc on the Discord here is the information he provided to me;
The Vera and Merchant scene that have both been revealed recently are not a priority to be released for 0.30, they're two last minute scenes and are directly tied to each other (you get the blowjob when you buy the dildo). Though he did say that he plans to add them into the game in one of the bugfix patches he'll make for 0.30, so think 0.30.1 or 0.30.2, these are the only two scenes to be in such a position. Though if he is able to, he will add them to 0.30 directly.
He said that it was very likely for 0.30 scenes to gain variations in future updates.
He said the main focus for the future reworks will be the sleeping and table events. Which is him filling in a bunch of placeholders and not implemented scenes.

So he's saving surprises? because he showed the new content of the update on his streams.
I'm not much fond of it either. I think there are a lot of things that put me off in some ways that I can't explain either. What I can say for certain is that I think the blush is too much. At least the art style change isn't a total overhaul. It's still relatively reminiscent of his older work, and everyone looks the same for the most part. I will say that I'm glad Vera's disconcerting python mouth is gone.
I'm with you on this. The changes in the art don't add anything to the charm of the game for me. I like the new vera the least. Her body type has become too similar to martha's, only with normal nipples.
