From the stream;

He worked on a commission for Vera's biggest simp. With the commission finished he will return to working on the game. (It was posted above by another member)

He also did a bit where he would answer questions from stream viewers, I'll quickly write down the important information I got;

He intends to get the next update out sometime in the next two weeks.

Halloween event will receive a rework, and might be included in the next update.

Following is not for the next update:

The other holidays will receive "enhancements" as he put it. This is like a combination of 'reshades' that he did for some scenes previously and possibly improving animation quality, if I had to guess. This might also be for the Halloween event, as I may have misunderstood him.

More special events are planned such as main character's birthday.

Honestly, if it weren't for Asian developers, I would have abandoned this adult games community a long time ago.

It's pretty much why despite the raise of English/Spanish/Russian game makers, most of my support is still in JP/CN/KR devs as they actually have a better record of finishing what they start. It makes the devs that deliver finished EN games look bad cause of the sheer amount of cash grab/milking devs.

He should work on those scenes, and its likely that the following update fills in some of those scenes, I mean, I dont even remember how many are still in the game to begin with.

All of this is supposed to be planned and that includes increases of art style quality over time. Which is why you see more competent devs seek to finish their games first and foremost and touch up on older stuff either as they go or after the game is done. A good example is the dev of M.W.O. games. They weren't satisfied with their first game but finished it anyway. When they completed their 2nd game, their drawing skills increased and they figured out the parts they wanted to improve on in the first game, so they remade it. After their 3rd game, again they weren't satisfied with parts of the 2nd game so again they remade those parts. Even better, those first versions of the games were free. Only after making the remake of the games did they decide to charge for them and this was before ci-en became a thing.

Another good, yet bad, yet good example is dot kobo (.kobo). Made 3 games using a certain 90's-ish artstyle, changed their art direction after their 3rd game. Immediately remade 3rd game (among releasing additional games) to fit new art style and new combat style, over time remade the 1st game using new art style and combat style and is in the midst of remaking 2nd game. Now if only they stop trying to make all-ages games that keep the H just moving it off-screen......and give us Busters 2 already...

He is incompetent, just the constant issue of being unable to reasonably hit his own time frames, and maintain a stable update schedule is enough to prove this. I'm just saying that I personally don't find him leaving some not implemented scenes in the game as a sign of incompetence, at most its just a sign of his priorities, which some people may or may not agree with, personally I don't care about the not implemented scenes all that much, their locations don't exactly seem like they'd lead to incredible scenes anyways. That being said, some of the best scenes currently in the game were added despite the not implemented scenes being present.

Though I did originally add the caveat that updates should come out within a reasonable ratio of quality, quantity and time. For the previous update defending it would be difficult, but if he is even somewhat close to releasing another update to the time he implied (seems to be within October), than it would completely change things. I mean I think if he was consistently updating the game then there'd be little to no complaints, from 0.30 to 0.31, even if it takes another month, the improvement in speed over the previous two updates would be substantial, especially as those two took so long, each being over a year.

I have to see it to believe it at this point about filling no implemented scenes which are several ones, but at least you admitted he is incompetent on a extent, don't forget he let the game abandoned more than a year so losing faith on him is obvious.

One thing is hilarious to me is he said he wants the game to be realistic when some people asked him to include sex scenes including Monte Carlo the horse while at the same time he included a ghost in the game lol you can't make this shit up :KEK:

To be fair, the bar for surpassing update speed isn't exactly high either. The main problem people have is that the dude updates, the update is incomplete, he goes "next update soon, bro. Trust", then vanishes for over a year. At this point, IF he updates in October then it'd be a MASSIVE improvement already.
