I don't think people are getting banned for asking about the release date, at least I ask for it occasionally and haven't been banned, I usually ask him directly during streams though. Has anyone here been banned for asking about the release date?

just a blind guess but I wager it's new members that ask it get banned and that a lot of them ask it in a manner similar to "where the fuck is the update" and then cry that they "merely asked when the update would come"
