as much as it is great that your the messenger for those who dont wanna pay whats your personal opinion on all this bs?
Just to clear up any confusion you may have, you don't need to pay to enter the Discord server, I think there is a Discord server for those who do pay, but he has the streams and such on the free server.

Honestly speaking this is incredibly frustrating, he didn't even need to make new scenes, he just had to implement what was already made and he even missed multiple supposed deadlines. It is incredibly likely that it is completely wasteful to be financially supportive of Doc. Holding negative views against his update schedule and work ethic is not only completely reasonable but it should be the standard, the only thing he has going for him is his art style, which has bought him over half a decade for what is increasingly clear to be an inadequate amount of actual content released over that time period.
I watched him work, I recently saw the "year in review" thing that Discord made, to show my activity over 2025, I had 118 hours for Doc's streams, he would take a few days at most (if he is working consistently) to draw and animate an event. After over 100 hours, I can say that most events would take 2 to 4 days (depending on number of scenes/variations/outfits), with most events only needing 2-2.5 days of work for Doc. If that is his usually work speed, than this game could've been finished years ago.
On top of that he is making more money than 99% of developers that actually try to make a good game and have a stable and consistent update schedule. I'm not sure how much it takes, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was in the top 10%, maybe even 1% in his country in terms of his income. At the very least he makes more significantly money annually than the average person across the entirety of the Americas, roughly double the average income for both the United States and Canada. Not only that but when looking at his Subcribestar he actually got another supported while I was writing this comment. I suppose the feeling is similar to when you see some woman on OnlyFans make millions of dollars by simply taking photos of herself and hiring some impoverished "third-worlders" to write comments on her behalf to terminally lonely men and financially irresponsible simps, while you're fully aware that you and many billions of others are stuck having to work actual jobs, often times very hard ones to make only a fraction of her income. Though of course we shouldn't allow ourselves to be sucked into the "just-world fallacy" and allow for the "unfairness" of the situation to negatively effect us and worsen our collective and individual psyche.
From what I've seen on the Discord server I suspect a lot of the most active users to have something like a "para-social relationship" with Doc, it is truly phenomenal how much they seem to tolerate endlessly, and to think that many of them have been at it for the full 7+ years of this game's development makes it all the more insane. People asking about the update (completely reasonable after months of development, multiple failed deadlines, and basically no attempts to share information on development progress), are usually given nothing but jokes, occasionally only one or two actually helpful Discord users give a more serious answer, but even then there isn't any useful information. It's effectively a meme on the Discord server to ask about the updates, they've more or less developed a subculture of endless tolerance and passivity, a near complete echo chamber.
I can understand defending him in part due to his depression and even the infamous kidney stones, but to fully excuse the majority of the 7+ years of underperforming development seems like too much of a stretch, at least with the information I've come across. Though of course, all of this may just be coming from a guy that doesn't know enough to hold a reasonably valuable opinion. I've only joined the Discord server less than a year ago and I've never used RPGMaker, so I don't know exactly how much effort it takes to implement scenes and their attached dialogue. I suppose that I might always have that doubt but the time frame seems too extreme for the outcome to be in favour of Doc.
Of course with all that said, I'm not going to be rude or overly combative on the Discord server. This isn't some unreasonable self censorship to avoid a ban might I add, I've criticized Doc on the Discord server before and didn't get banned. I mean if you're going to criticize at the very least be reasonable about it.

As for when the update will come out, I have no idea, Doc has been missing since around the 25th of November if I had to guess. I must admit that I'm increasingly losing my interest in this game, the amount of time in between each of my experiences playing the game is simply too long, this is exasperated by the fact that part of the wait is for content I have no interest in, such as bestiality and that blonde demon Mia. I've even skipped the 0.30 updates, besides whatever playtime I had to update the guide, which was mostly quite boring and felt like a big chore, and even then I had issues which led to inaccuracies. There are now many new games coming out these days compared to when this game was new, that are gaining my attention, have good art, a good story and at least for now seem to have a good developer(s). Even AI art games are starting to come through with actually good quality content. This isn't to say that I'd be replacing this game with other ones, as this game doesn't update frequently enough to even register as something that can be replaced to begin with.
