The way I deal with depression is to get back into life, work hard, fill my time with tasks, and over time, my mindset gradually recovered.

But to be honest, I don't believe our patient actually has any depression. I suspect this is just another excuse for him to avoid work. I hope our patient can disappear completely this time, just as he has always done. This way, when the time is right, we might be able to use AI to create fan games.

i honestly wish this game would get consistent updates atleast maybe 2 or 3 times a year even if there not large thats better then nothing, then saying im 100% gonna update at this time then blowing by that by months, and i cant even track whats going on in the server cause i was banned for some reason even tho i dont even chat in there like every i just peeked into the streams every now and then and i texted doc about it twice and i havent even gotten a reply and its been almost 2 months, like you cant even give me the curtesy to tell me why or make any kind of excuse or anything

compared to the amount of games that were planned and abandoned on this forum, especially bestie ones, having someone who puts out random updates once every few years is better than some scraps most of us gooners get...

In my country, if someone is repeatedly deceived by the same trick but still believes it when the same trick is played again, we usually call such a person a fool.
I wouldn't say its that they're being tricked, I actually think a lot of them are aware of it. I'm fairly certain its the beasty guys, I suspected that they were significantly over-represented in the Discord server and it became clear to me that I was right when they won a poll with nearly 150 total votes.

The issue is that bestiality games aren't incredibly common, on top of that when Doc released this game, they were even less common, and on top of that yet again, his art style was really popular. What this means is that a lot of Bestiality guys found this game, and a lot of them became involved with the Discord server and of course they gave Doc financial support.

This is a reality that a lot of people need to accept, that certain fetishes have followers who are more likely to spend money to get what they want. As a result I would suspect that a disproportionate amount of his financial backers are guys who simply want bestiality content, and are much more willing to wait longer periods of time.

Even Golem no longer trusts Bones and turns away from him...
I wouldn't say that I was entirely on his side for however many years now, I was just open to the idea that there could've been more to it because I knew that I didn't know everything. But the more I learned the more I came to the conclusion that something was wrong. It's not that I have absolutely no faith in him, the bar is low enough that he simply needs to release the next update before it's been a year since the last one.

i agree, some developers that roughly get 500 a month are WAY better at releasing updates in a timely manner, and those same developers even have a 40 hr job they are also dedicated too
Yes it is unfortunate that these people don't receive greater rewards for their greater effort. However, it would again be the "just world fallacy" to believe that good things must happen to good people, and bad things must happen to bad people.

I'm not sure how severe his depression is, but even if this was something that had delayed him in the past. Than the current delays seem to have no valid excuse, he seemed to have taken the entire month of September off, then started to work on the game again in October, and has now disappeared since around the 25th of November. So he was only working on it for about two months, before he disappeared, two months to simply implement already made scenes and add whatever text he will pair with it seems like more than enough time. I mean realistically if he sat down and just worked on it consistently he'd have multiple pre-made scenes added to the next update within a single day.

I don't think RPGMaker uses too much coding, but rather just scene implementation in this case. Regardless, even if he did have a lot of coding to do, he still have 2 months and hasn't released an update.

RPG Maker code isn't complicated at all, if you have some experience and the existing code is optimized rather than being a bunch of spaghetti workarounds. I can understand long development cycles for open-world games with large maps, like 'Demon Deal', but this is a different case

Golem, I have a question since you seem to be very close to the creator, or at least someone he trusts a lot. My question is, if a future update for the game comes out, will it include the scenes with Vera and the dog that weren't included in the previous version?
