The moment you expect to be paid by someone to make your thing, it is your job. You've created the necessity of expectation by telling people that they're investing in something to be made. When you're not making that something or making it poorly it will create the justified dissatisfaction that YOU created.
Oseo it is your job, we expect you to do your job (both investors and people who decided you're no longer worth their money). Either make the game or piss off. Otherwise you're nothing more than a scamming grifter. Which you're in a deeper position of carrying the burden to prove otherwise. This game has been in development for too long to have a ridiculous lack of content to show for it.

So he's not even doing the basement TF remake, just another thing for him to remake down the line instead of new scenes smh captain's log etc.

I dont know. Update supposed to be ready for 8th 02, then Valentines, then nothing...

among game creators, the Dr is not the worst... yes he takes time between two Updates, far from releasing good quality content each time... but he at least hasn't made any compromised on its creation and kept all the themes intact
(I keep faith... maybe because I don't give him money)

So, it seems everyone is getting really angsty lately. And, trust me, I get it. So I just wanted to make a couple things clear for those who are new or somehow decided to forget years of "me". In the beginning of this venture, I was convinced that giving "hard-dates" for updates was the best thing I could do. I mean, It is pretty simple, you give a date and you make it happen... But one thing I found back then is that I suck at timing. So, What happened? I gave dates, and I didn't make it happen, and people got mad, and that kinda went like that for a while... So, with time, I decided to not give hard-dates anymore. That way only people who were really impatient got mad, which luckily were like 50% of the total of peoples. But... as always there is a "but"... Another thing I'm bad besides "timing"... is remembering from my mistakes, So as you know, I gave a hard date again. And we all know how that went. Now, you are all waiting for this third part of the update, which got delayed (which shouldn't be a surprise by now). And I know you guys want to know when will it be ready. And I'm aching to give you a date, trust me, but I know better than that... Or at least I should know. But the only thing I can tell you is this (And I will make it as points to make it clearer to understand): 1-YES,I'm working on it. 2-NO, I haven't been working on it non-stop because I got other things I HAD to do IRL (And no, it wasn't procrastinating... Though I spent a couple hours playing Skyrim) 3-YES, I'm now fully free to work on it non-stop. (Happy?) 4-YES, It will be ready soon 5- Originally Martha/Doggo scene was going to have 3 stages... Now it has 6 (The last 3 are variations of the first 3) And NO, This is not an excuse to take more time, I was already working on it for a while. I'm sure I'm forgetting more points... But, As I said, I'm bad at remembering. All in all... What you guys should keep in mind is that, even if this whole thing of making porn games is what is keeping me feed, I still don't consider it a JOB, and that's good. because the moment I see it as such, I'll probably quit... 'cause that's what I do, I quit jobs (ask all my previous bosses) I'm a dysfunctional person.I love doing this, don't get me wrong. And I'll keep doing this as long as I keep loving doing it. But the moment I feel like I'm stuck, bored, or burned out beyond repair... I'll quit... And that's why I don't want to see this as a "job". So don't go around saying that I NEED to behave like a AAA developer or that I'm obligated to do what you say I should do... I like being a free agent. And that's why the whole Patreon/Susbcribestar thing suits me. People donate to let me do what I want to do... And that's what some of you forget. You are not paying for a product, you are helping the guy make the thing.That's all (I think) I appreciate the ones who show patience, And I happy that people like my stuff enough to be impatient for it... Though those guys should really learn from the first guys.Hugs and kisses.

If 50% peoples got mad at you it's already a problem, half your fanbase got angry at you meant ALOT and not "luckily" at all. Not just that but they aren't just being impatience because Bones slow in developing his game but because he's focused on remaking stuff, people will be more patience and more forgiving if those are new content and story continuation instead of reworked of old scenes/events (not just that but had to start new game each update because old saves are useless)
Okay sure you treated your game development as a hobby and got IRL problem to deal with, but how about taking people feed backs and adding all the "not implemented" stuff to ease people? People paid you to MAKE the product they promised to see, they want to see their product got new things to play with. You have responsibility to the money they gave you and you gave them what they wanted, if you couldn't deliver the stuff then don't take their money during the time you can't working on it. Not just that but considered you got more than 6k USD/month on both site at this point it aren't a hobby but a LEGIT JOB, and a business that you should have taken serious
Most of peoples aren't sheep, some are just more tolerate while other aren't and thus will voice their displeasure. Instead of banning them from your discord you should have listen to them Bones, your mismanagement, miscalculation and straight up toxic really are disappointed

This dude is milking money from the "still" supporters, if they stop being patreons an open their eyes he maybe will start doing something good, but for now, wait 8 months for 4 rework scenes what a fucking joke, and he still gets mad when someone ask for the update hahahaha what an a*Hole
Ps I stoped the support a few months ago for this reason

Yeah the very thing that keeps him feed and cozy with less that minimum effort he's gonna quit it if he gets too much pressure with it, not hard to tell why he quits jobs XD this guy is beyond help, ofc he is not going to quit ever, the current development speed for a PIXEL ART PORN GAME is enough to last at least 10 years, not an AAA, honestly I lost any hope I had with bones, this sht is going to get abandoned any time now, the guy could save money from his milking machine an couple of months, hire some bitches and buy a cabaret club or something

In the end, oseo is right, he is not getting paid to give a product, but as a help (instead of "help" More like he is literally being moved in a chariot pulled by thousands of idiotic knights) and that's ok, but the way he thinks of this, the way he just said it IN HIS DISCORD CHANNEL, idk if he was just honest or he really thinks it's okay to say that but it was almost like "If don't feel like working I won't, I'll be doing this as long as love to do it, god I love to do it so much that I work on it almost nothing to show how much I love it, you guys can keep paying my knowing that I don't have any responsibility with you the guys that are carrying me in my golden chariot and I'll be ok with that".
Man I love my work, the thing about getting paid just to help people is awesome, and the very least I can do is to make my job right, bones loves so much developing this that he hasn't hired people to make the process more easy to him so he can concentrate in the scenes ideas or anything else (idk, I'm not a developer) or even to accept any of the fkton knights he has offering him help with the game to finish it quicker, just to make all of it himself and enjoy more the feeling of loving his hobby by 100%
Ofc is not the love to his monthly 5-6k income XD
This guy is just rotten to me, gotta keep supporting real developers that love doing porn games and show that effort in the game, in gameplay and updates

Dude there are devs who stops donation for not making an update in like 2 months, they apologize and they make 20% the income of bones, and when they feel secure enough to say ok this shit is ready donations are up again for that who wanna help me on the development.... But this guy........ God who knows when he is gonna stop milking those poor little souls

The fact he really tried to use the whole "I'm a dysfunctional person, I quit my jobs so please don't boss me around uwu" just shows this clown has no intent to take any real responsibility for his incompetence, laziness, and dishonesty. It's not a labor of love if you can't even be arsed to give it your 110% regardless if you're paid or not. Lust Epidemic came out the same year as this game has, up to now NLT has completed Lust Epidemic, Treasure of Nadia, and is on the third game now.
Meanwhile this guy has the gall to start a second game after the first year he starts this one and puts them both effectively in a development hell that has no reason to exist. You proved to the people you have no real commitment, your game is essentially small in scale. It all takes place in a house and not really any place else. Yet you struggle to keep up with other devs who make games with settings that are on a scale much larger than yours. Even though Nergal half-assed Urban Demons he still more or less completed the game. Mity despite taking 8 years and started 2 years prior to you developing his game (4 Elements Trainer) is pretty much completed, it's probably got one more update for completion. You were slower than all matters of different types of games on different scales from different devs regardless of their quality.
Oseo as well as other devs like him need a major reality check. People need to realize that they have every right to expect more especially when they're being provided with less. Your hard earned money is being taken by people who don't earn it. That's more than enough reason to make you upset and angry. That's your money that could've been better spent on something that actually provided you with something, not for the empty promises of those who had no real intention to produce anything. These people aren't your family you need to be considerate of. They're strangers who are constantly betraying your trust.

I call this the OnlyFans Syndrome. These people think, they're entitled to the money and have nothing to do for it. Anybody who thinks different or is demanding is just rude and selfish. I mean, how can anybody expect to get something for his/her/its money? So rudeeee!
Maybe that is his personal problem? He is so sad that he can't be an OnlyFans Model who only needs to take one cute picture a day and the job is done, that he can't work normal anymore. The updates take so long because now he paints only one brush with a pencil a day. That would make sense with 8 months development, or is it 10 months already?
I really hope some eyes got opened after this statement, but I hoped that from the other ones too. But his follower numbers increased. All hope for a change abandoned, like this game
