looking at the changelog apparently there are bad ends for telling the succubus to leave as different characters how the heck are you supposed to do that telling her to leave

You need to learn Command - Possess, in which case the succubus will approach you and ask if you want to free her from your service after having "mastered" the book.
So it looks like in the next update or an update in the near future we are going to get the Jake/Mia dom mind dinner scenario completed as well as new characters for the "Wayward" quest line.

I have the same frequent problem with The Wayward Ones 
I did everything according to the guide and got stuck... For some reason it says (Optional). However, I don't know what to do next...

However, I don't know what to do next...the game isn't loading properly for me, all i see is a line, the logo of the game, and the option to turn it off or minimize it. does anyone know what i can do about this?
What to do next depends on where you are and what you have already done. For the current main story/quest with Caroline have you done her Dreamwalk sequence? If so then that is basically where the story ends currently so after that is mainly free roaming. As for The Wayward Ones if I recall correctly there are two scenes with that First scene is with younger Jake and friends a memorial type banquet for the victims of the bombing. Second is with Jack and Melandra. So if you got these then there is nothing left there as well. These are also one time scenes..I have the same frequent problem with The Wayward Ones
Also, just a fyi (if you care about it) the guide does not have all the scenes listed out so you will have to kind of stumble upon them.

1) No or at least I do not.
2) Not sure, could be a mistyped though that line in the changelog is a lot to mistype accidentally. But if you have not gotten that scene then SP Olivia and you will get a lunch option when she goes to work. If it is broken or whatever it will likely be very similar to the Olivia SP scene so you probably not missing a whole lot.
If you look at the change log it explains it there: "Quick note on the naming convention: The second number is was meant to be updated on the completion of the a chapter’s main story elements. Finally remembered to update it after quite a while."

You need Max Level Soul Passenger and Olivia to have 90+ Lust. Then Invite Donovan while she has lunch in her Flower Shop.
You do not need to have max SP and Olivia's lust 90+ but it does not hurt. The minimum to get the lunch option is 70 lust and at least lvl 2 SP. I just tried it with Olivia's stats at 70 for influence, love, and lust and lvl 2 SP on a new save with this being the only thing I did outside of getting the required spells and I got the option.

I've gone ahead and done it this time so you don't need to, but in the future, what you need to do is make a post like this and then report it, or just report the original post of the thread and put the link to the update in the report message. On this forum, the report button isn't just for busting trolls, but also maintenance tasks like game updates. Reporting assures that the mods will see the update and act on it, just making a post does not.

The possession spell ability to bodyhop completely trips up this game.
Math fun-time O'clock!
X = number of love interests in the game
If the MC never engages in threesomes and never watches NTR then the number of possible pairings in the game is simply X. If X is 2 you need to make sex scenes for 2 pairings, if X is 20 then you need 20 pairings. If you want a dozen scenes per love interest that means you need to animate 12X scenes. For 20 waifus that is 240 scenes that need to be animated.
Now add the possession spell. The formula for this is... (X+1)*X. The +1 comes from the fact that the MC is also a waifu. And that A fucking B != B fucking A.
So if you have 20 waifus that is 420 possible pairings for vanilla 1 on 1 sex. a dozen scenes each and you are looking at 5040 scenes needing to be animated.
Throw in another 20 for each familar to get a nice 5080 figure.
The possession spell changes the number of scenes needed from linear growth to quadratic growth
edit: also forgot to mention. with succubus possession swap and possession levels you simply triple the figure. so the formula is actually (X+1)*3X + Y.
Where Y is assorted scenes like 3somes, NTR, familiars, etc.
