I just tested the online version, it works. No need to download anything.

Didn't try to download the online version. I tried testing the online version (which does seem to actually work - and is the only version I've gotten to work so far).

Merely, since the link took me to itch.io, and you can, ya know.. download games from itch.io (that's sort of their.. 'thing'), I figured I could/should just try and grab it from there. Partially assuming that the exe package may be corrupt on the F95 links. F95 isn't the 'only' place to download games, you know.

Though, I suppose to answer your question, I wasn't attempting to download the online version. I was attempting to download the Windows version, off of itch.io, which is what I chose from said download link on itch. I wasn't aware that I'd need to be so... oddly specific.

Tried several download links, each leading to a black screen that remains. itch.io download link is for some reason only 11mb, while each download link I've tried on F95 has been roughly 170mb.

Its a HTML game so its like 100kb HTML file with 11 Mb pictures and stuff, when hosted online, and with 160Mb of Electron (single-page web browser) when you download it for offline use cause developer knows its easier to bloat the game than explain people how to open HTML file in their normal browser.

At least as far as windows version of the package goes, the one you get from itch.io is also incomplete -- it doesn't have the actual html nor the gfx files, but it's instead just the content of "locales" sub-folder. So yeah, that ain't going to run on anything.

I've accepted a notice board quest to work on the fields, talked to dad and when starting the shift there was a "farm work shift not found" error.

yeah, i couldnt even get the web version to work, only grey screens on all of the ones i tried, and so this is definitely not a v1-0-0 it seems to be more a 0-1-0 alpha test not a release. Yes it has features (games too buggy to see them) yeah it has plans, but its definitely not yet enough to call it a game since its a hit or miss when it will run.
