I don't hate the demo and its looks, but the quality of the actual renders is way too low. And with a more realistic style, you can clearly see that. They should really render at a much higher resolution if they want it too look good. HS1 has its own look and that one can hide a lot of the negatives that shine through now.

Not sure what the plan is, but I hope this is just a side thing (or possible sequel) and it is not another dev that abandons or remakes the old game.

I liked other characters design shown in demo. Just didn’t feel the match with new Karen) the quality of new senes was rather good too. Also I didn’t like that mc looks like an ugly bastard from cringey hentai in this demo.

i totally agree with you, my main concern was not being able to maintain the lewd content in the hs1, like HUGE stretching with huge tits and ass, jiggle, mouth deformation for blowjob and kiss, nipple fucks and etc, my concert is at ease now, but the quality... damn that took a hit, i can live with hs1 but the quality had a downgrade, that CAN be worked, the models also need to be more faithful to the original ones imo, and the call me crazy, but as a huge tit lover i got some merits, there is a inconsistency on Karen tits, in some scenes(without them being interacted) the tits are sometimes huge, sometimes normal/big, imo they should be always huge by default

i'll keep having some hope on the dev as the game is maintaining it lewdness, i just hope that if the dev really go to this engine he polishes and upscales the renders, or if he comes back to the older engine this could be just an extra/bonus sequence, like the koikatsu one, and after that part we come back to the old engine for the rest of the game

I hope that this release is only something secondary and does not affect the main production, because if the main game changes its engine, it is most likely that the game will be delayed much more. I also hope that this does not lead to now wanting to develop something else and abandoning what it was already doing. I would rather like an attempt to be made to make the development pick up more speed.

This release was also in old engine, and has nothing to do with main game, it is separate game.
I also hope game does not get abandoned.

I think this was just a demo of what we could expect in remake but i could be wrong

It said that it was abandoned because F95 rules states that, after 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc) the tag gets added. LustSeekers didn't post an update for 6 months because he is remaking the game with HS2 engine. The fact that the game has abandoned tag doesn't necessarily mean that it is. Dev posted demo of an remake on 9th of april.
