Game's an unplayable mess.
Downloading the thing gets you no images, which is the point. Literally the viewport doesn't load pictures.
Playing on the browser, I can't click on the non-game version, and even in the game version, if I run into an NPC, my character freezes. Played through the texts until the game crashed, which was not long.
Has ANYBODY been able to play this?

They started to make "beast and Princess" to avoid a potential nintendo strike but since nintendo isn't doing it, they put the real deal. (you know how they are, doujin or even free game like some pokemon fanmade where sadly strike by big N )
I think at these time, you needed a patch to transform "beast and Princess" into the peach stuff, but honestly, i don't remember well.
I suspect that beast and princess aren't updated but who know.
the beast and princess thing was because he had some moron repeatedly report his game for having nintendo licensed characters or something lol

Seriously though, he needs to do something about the platforming. It is insufferable. I really hope it's part of it's status as an early beta, Superstar Sexting also had frustrating platforming.

Its impossible because bowser generates coins when he edges and it adds to the total you need to get. Unless you can somehow get 300 coins before that there is nothing you can do as theres only about 310 coins in total give or take.
The new update broke the game for me, all of the cutscenes are now black. Is there an older version somewhere I can download? Or is there any fix of some kind?
Yes. It is even possible to finish the game (not that there is anything interesting to watch)
If you struggle, I've modified the gold coin income 100 per 1, so you can easily grab 300 to enter the castle.
Extract the attached archive into Paper Peach's Letter (BETA)_Data\Managed and replace native Assembly-CSharp.dll.
Don't forget about wall-jumping.
