Yes, the dev is aiming for every three months.

As long as it's consistent, I have no issue. Rather have the dev keep on making the game with the time their comfortable with that adds no pressure and stress than them giving up cause expectations are too high and people are demanding quick updates.

It's almost finished, and the last thing I read is that it seems they wanted a short game.
I think two years is a short time.

But what I read is that I don't think there will be more than two routes.

Because the dev would like the update cycle to be every three months starting with v0.3. v0.2 was released in August, November would be three months. The dev has mentioned that a unforeseen move has taken away some development time, but they are still hoping to finish by the end of November.
