i beat the game and the greenman said i unlocked harem mode in options but i dont see it. anyone know where it is located?

How do you unlock the school? It doesnt make sense for me to go to the shrine if the only way to unlock the shrine is through the school and vis versa
The girls you need to talk to appear at the entrance at some point.

Everyone you can see as a person is fuckable. It's actually brought up specifically at the end of the game.

It's just something you intuit after a while, especially if you played the previous game. Though the last game doesn't put a fuckable char in your path so early but you can't do anything with her for a while.
Even if you can't fuck them, reading the transparent character dialogue is a good idea. Most of it is flavor, some of it is hints.

Once you do that get some lore from the hot springs. You should be able to talk to them once you're #1
