It's hard to explain, but the mechanic of building rooms inside the brothel will be one of the core mechanics of the game, many others will derive from it. For example, one idea could be: build a room in which your monsters and slaves interact. The idea is that you can customize and focus on the mechanics that most interest you, but it won't be mandatory select one. It's an ambitious concept, but I want to offer that freedom of choice to the player.

You could just call it a mansion or manor. Maybe based on a toggle like booleon no_brothel. if set it would be referred to as the Manor instead of Brothel, and won't be able to trigger whoring out scenes of slaves.
so you could build whatever rooms you need for various char interactions without strictly requiring someone to be using the brothel to raise funds.
that is assuming you mean for it to be optional. A lot of slave management games have it as optional, but a lot have it as mandatory. So it depends on what you want.

Sounds ambitious in the long term. I'm glad graphics aren't your main concern. While not the prettiest, they won't slow you down in later development. I remember Breeding Season being bottlenecked by the artist. Good luck.

There is not much variety in the game at the moment. Not much content either. The game is early in its development cycle, and is more of a proof-of-concept.
