VN - Ren'Py - Bright Lord [v1.0-Fix Rework] [KissKiss Studio]

Having experienced my fair share of Ren'Py adult VN's of varying quality from frankly unplayable to what almost appears to be professional work, Bright Lord comes right out of the gate with impressive visuals and an intriguing storyline/plot. This rarely happens with a developer's first release, but there is an attention to detail and a desire for high quality that you love to see early on. I definitely recommend playing it and I look forward to the next update!

I really like the renders for all the girls, and the central premise of the game isn't groundbreaking but it does check the boxes for some of my favorite tropes. I'm very optimistic about how this game will develop in the future.

This game has one of the most top-notch renders and characters thus I give this game easily 10/10, can't wait to see more content, also the story is more than any other games in this platform, I absolutely suggest you to play this amazing game!

As other reviews have mentioned, the model renders are exceptional and easy on the eyes. They're actually what drew me to this game in the first place, namely with the mother

I will say I'm intrigued by the horror aspect of this game since I'm drawn to anything but that in real life. The concept of a being that exists both in reality and in their mind is interesting although I don't think I would've introduced it as early as it was. Typically, the antagonist is something that's hinted at and not fully introduced until at least several updates in

The constant overreactions by the family members is a bit much but justified as it's reasonable given each person's disposition. An older sister that feels bitter with her father dying and the MC being away is understandable. A naive little sister that's reconnecting with her brother is going to be excited. And a mother who has to deal with the older sister will need a strong temper in order to maintain order.

As for the single animation in the game, while I appreciate the fluidity, putting it against a stationary 2D background only makes it awkward. Those animations are best suited in games like Treasure of Nadia or Echoes of Lust where we see characters actually moving. For this game, focus on more on the future sex scene animations then a random walking motion.

The grammar/punctuation situation is something I'm sure the dev already knows about but yeah. It needs a bit of proofreading and the dialogue is sometimes choppy here and there but nothing that effort/time won't fix, unlike a certain individual in here believes

All in all, it's a promising game in terms of renders and concept. The writing just needs to be cleaned up a bit and the rest should follow smoothly

I'm not a fan of the incest genre but I still enjoyed this game. The renders and girls look great. The night scenes are a bit too dark, but it looks like the dev is aware of that and plans to fix it. I also thought the music and sound fit very well. The only real negative I saw was there were quite a few grammatical errors and missing punctuation in places. It seems like English is not the dev's first language. But it was still completely understandable, did not distract from the game, and is easily fixable. Looking forward to seeing more from this game and dev.

Excellent debut. Very excited on how far Santaras will go with this game. Storyline is intriguing and renders/characters are natural. Should add a cat that roams around the house. Chloe and mother for the win!!

1. A start that is as good as can be albeit too short but i think it has potential and lets see what comes of it hope the dev focus on story cause the models are RAD
2. Noice renders man Hawt new models like all of them.
3. Oh yeah noice music nobody uses music until its late into dev but you did good with the music. Still there is always room for improvement youll figure it out.
4. The only con is the dialogues. You should focus on it to improve it to make it more realistic.

Don't make it a game where MC just fucks the family out of their mind out of nowhere rather build it up both the story and characters and the family romance should come later than earlier after introducing other characters. What i'm saying save the family for last XD cause its way too corny to just ram them at the start.

I am a backer of this project and i can tell the dev knows his problems. Kiss kiss studio just got a new team member who will do the proofreading. He post his work everyday on his patreon, so i think he is commited.

Cons: well the act 1 passing is really kinda of but he esxplains it like it was just a introduction to bright lord, again the dialogs needs a touch.

Pros: model are sexy, mother looks young but i dont care i dont like old woman models.
The idea is nice refreshing. FINALLY I HOPE NO NTR IN THE GAME.

And lastly i see a dude put two stars because the story is has the same charecters like other games...? Wut? Dude its porn game. There is no new plot in this industry for like two years. I played alot of games in other sites for like 4 years and boys there were really bad ones.
So i dont support 0.1 reviews but i kinda got angry for the 2 star review cuz it will just demotivate the dev and we will see no new content and i want to see more of his work.

Bright Lord v0.1b Review:

In two words: a mess.

I love incest games but I wasn't at all impressed by the content so far. The mom is unrealistically young after having had three children, the oldest one of whom looks to be in her early 20s. The facial expressions are far too exaggerated in scenes and especially noticeable on Emily, the youngest sister. The pacing is awful and the writing is not professional; the mc literally walks in on all members of the family naked, one after the other, in this chapter. I can't tell if the dev is going for a horror-comedy or pure horror vibe, because you certainly don't get the latter while playing this. The characters overreact to situations and are one-sided i.e. the older sister is a bitch to the family and the only explanation is that the father is dead/ she went to college.

On the plus side, the model themselves are decently attractive and the renders are sharp. The "twist" at the end indicates supernatural content, which, if nothing else, is different from what you usually find on this site. But until the dev(s) fixes the aforementioned issues, and to be honest I don't think he/she/they can on their own, I'll continue to skip future releases.

The horror element is interesting to see in this type of game. The dark scene was not that bad, as long as the sex scenes don't happen in the dark also.

All the women designs are great. The mom is the best one imo. I love the short temper that she tries to hide from everyone else. Being hot + scary makes her the best.

Overall, great potential in this one. Hopefully the developer is in it for the long run.

This is a great start for a spooky incest story!

GOOD
- Models: The models used are plump as hell and look juicy!
- Setting: There isn't enough horror VN/games out there!

BAD
- English: there was some misspelling and bad English (some in like the first line of the story). Of course this can be fixed.
- Short: The length isn't bad for a 0.1 but its not very long either (didn't take off star for this).

All in all I hope we get some more soon! Also I noticed the monster has a dick...please tell me theres a chance the monster fucks these girls! Cant wait for more!

Short VN but it got me hard and the story is simple but enjoyable.

PROS

• nice models - each looks unique and hot
• quite ecchi - a lot of erotic scenes for such a short act. I would even rather they played out more, like when the younger sis was rubbing her butt on MC

CONS

• text - the fonts used are a bit tacky
• pacing - a little too fast due to not much storytelling and scenes finishing too soon

The sfx text is also cheesy but if you are going for that comic look (to each their own) - I'd just add a black outline to make the text pop more.
Instead of saying "(thoughts)" just use a different font, from the default, to represent inner thoughts.
Looking forward to the abilities or whatever the Bright Lord gives MC so that he can get into all sorts of perverted scenarios
