You was trying to write a song without any skill in writing. You have to read newspapers and do jobs on NB before trying to write a song.

This update is even more frustrating than the previous one. Two scenes in 3 months, with animation in 2FPS, this is a bit not what we expect. The plot does not move, everything is clogged with ragged and abandoned quest chains. The game began very promisingly, but it seems this is another conveyor for pumping out donations.
Some frustration is certainly justified, but not the last half of the last sentence. The dev is alone and no professional. Productivity drops inevitably the larger the code mess becomes. For instance, debugging takes more and more time. Maybe, Renpy isn't the best choice for a sandbox game too. Additionally, there was a two-weeks vacation. But the dev has already delivered games and a rather huge QSP-predecessor. There is no reason to doubt his integrity and dedication yet.
I agree and understand, but maybe the two things (sex and plot) can walk together: I mean why don't start a plot in which Alex will try to be accepted at the journalist school seducing the headmaster; for example?
At the same time I don't understand why spend resources adding useless options, like the abandoned basement of which Alex found out the key, if the player can't do anything in that basement. Maybe in the future that basement will became useful, but then I think it would be better if the developer had awaited some time to add the basement at the game, because in this way it seems (at least to me) he is putting some random stuff in the game whitout have a clear idea of how proceed with the development. I know, it seems I am too harsh with the developer (even if I didn't want to), but I didn't find a less rude way to say what I wanted say.

C'mon. Give him some slack - as it is said here (for these 2 updates) dev is on vacations. At least we got something from him meanwhile (unlike some other devs).
But I agree, if updating continues like this, game will be in deep s**t
I did use that one that you posted however there are some things in the changelog that the walkthrough does not reflect such as the side quests and also for getting Val to have different hair style and that quest for planning a party. So many things as I also want to see on getting the lesbian route going

I'm not sure yet what to think about the mood-update, but we'll see how it goes in future updates.
Funny thing, since this update, there's no need to do her makeup when working in the casino.
As soon as i change to the working-uniform, she get's the makeup for free (is it just me, or a general bug?).
One other thing that bugs me is that the Yoga-mat is missing (since I started the game, not just with this update).
I bought it at the shop, so it's no longer for sale, but it's nowhere to find, not in her room, not in the desk, or the bag, it's just not there. So I can't do Yoga at home.
Is there any way to fix this, or do I have to start all over again?

No, it is not a bug, it was mentioned in another changelog that this will happen automatically since makeup is mandatory for this job. Try to get changed without makeup in your inventory and you should get a message about being unable to work.
You should be able to do sports at home, push-ups, pumping. If you look closely you will detect the yoga-mat there. So the mat is simply at home. Why Alex isn't doing any yoga with it I don't know. I assume she feels still like a rookie and needs Penelope for guidance ...
Well, I just looked very closely again, but I still can't find it and neither any way todo other exercises at home.
The only yoga-mat I can find anywhere at home is the one in Valerie's room, which of course I can't use.
I can go for a run in the park, which also counts as "workout at home", but that's it.
How many inspiration points there is? So far, I managed to find 10 spots for 30 points total (Owl at piano at her store, musicians in Rose District, watching TV, Painting in Hallway, Photos in Valerie's room, radio in the kitchen, picture in rectors office, Quarry, mix pult at Falsetto, microphone in rehearsal room). Is that it or is there more of them?

I see. It looks you have already a sport suit and the sneakers. So the only reason for not having the attached scenery in her room is that your physical strength is already higher than 24. Then the yoga mat is of no use anymore, for now. To become even stronger you need to go to gym.

Can someone help I keep getting an error saying an exception has occurred. When I go to ignore it I can't go past that screen and I when I hit return I can't do anything else since the game is forcing me to go to the bathroom since the charater is soaking wet. So I have no other options.

Normally I don't jump into these kind of discussions, they tend to be endless. There are 350 patrons and maybe 1K freeloaders with their personal quirks about the game. Many of them have great ideas, fair questions and justified complaints that should definitely be voiced. But if the dev would start discussing them he wouldn't write a single line for weeks. Some ignorance is a virtue of a productive dev.
Games do not die for me because they no longer suit my taste, but because they are no longer surprising. We all have our issues with this mess, I really hate these oversized boobs and I don't understand why Alex is still running around with Fry's package. But everything has its reason at least, likeable or not. So maybe I can give you some:
The topic journalism is done - if the dev won't surprise us later on ;-). Alex got rejected twice at the university. If you have the college in mind: This is only for arts like music and painting. According to the previous game Alex could apply there as a teacher in the future, after she had her first success as a rock star. And there were really strange things going on in this school ... I think this would be enough stuff for four releases. Headmaster included.
There were some consensus that every location should offer something to the player. This empty but near location is also suited for some kind of an entry quest to introduce the concept. Additionally, the boring everyday life won't be sweetened but beautified and made more and more lively with little extra effort - changing backgrounds, small scenes, items, small quests and now some noises. The purpose of the basement is to be mysterious - or is it bad when the fantasy of the players is being incited? I imagined a BDSM-cellar. But I think the dev will go for some atelier or so. And frankly, if I found a basement in these ruins, I would not have an idea right away too. Embrace the surprise, appease the impatience.
In general: The game tries to be realistic but absurd, funny and erotic too. It cannot be compared with a typical Renpy CTRL-novel. It has to be relatable why Alex is at least considering going out in the rain to blow siberian truckers regularly, eeek. This reason is money, what else. The dev will try to keep up this pressure on the MC as grindy as this may look.
You didn't ask but something about the mood system: Women and the importance of her mood sounds like a realistic concept to me. Now every action or even a dialogue is able to make an impact on Alex. Or the other way round: the mood of Alex could influence the NPC's. This change has real potential, maybe it is even unique. We will see.
Oi, looks like you hit the rain-bug. You should reload a dry save and try to buy the umbrella in the Mall as soon as possible. If money is tight you should bring your mood to or better above 0 until you can afford this item.
