you are wrong this cheat mod doesn't touch the console code
you need to enable it by using unren
if you still having problems download 00console.rpy and put it into
Bright_Past-0.92.0-pc\Bright_Past-0.92.0-pc\renpy\common\00console.rpy

I probably fat fingered it somehow, but I used uren and shift+D or O was not working.. I will try again.
Reason I like the console is mostly for bumping up the friendly stat of the NPC, and a few other minor things.

I had to manually edit the 00console.rpy to get it to work for some reason unren was not working, but I have it now
. Appriciate your helping me, knowing your Console was working was a big help.

How do I activate the cheat mod? I already follow the instructions and put it in the game folder, but nothing happened, the cheat didn't appear!
