i had no save file..i had thoroughly removed the game and anything related to it from my system..i did a truly fresh clean install with todays update
In that case, what did you do exactly? Go through the intro of the game, do so stat training and you immediately got the bug again? Does it immediately go wrong or can you do a few actions normally before you get the bug?

A few small bugs I've noticed:

I've finished Julia's route according to the walkthrough, but she still has a ! marker which appeared after I raised her love a bit with chocolates. I can't access a scene with her, though, no option to have a conversation.

Just thought I'd give a heads-up.

There's a way to avoid the game over by deadline? Maybe some cheat that remove it?
The way to avoid going game over by it is to retrieve the memory from Bright World before the deadline. If you're on Story mode you'll have to gather everyone in the living room to go to Bright World at least twice to do so. If you're on Full mode, you'll have to keep exploring Bright World until you've found it before the deadline ends

Thanks for your reply Bright Sun! I'm in story mode indeed but I alredy gathered everyone in the living room twice (thus I cannot explore anymore Bright World)... it's strange. I'm trying again from the scratch.
Btw great game so far!

In that case the deadline might be causing some confusion or it's a bug. Did you actually get the game over screen? In that case it's a bug. Several people playing on the Story mode have also asked this, so I suppose I'll explain it a little better in-game in version 0.2 for those on the Story mode. The deadline countdown when switching between days doesn't go away if you have the memory. So if you haven't actually received a game over screen, you're probably fine. The deadline counter still needs to be there for the people on Full mode so they know how much free time they have left before they once again have to be prepared for combat. In the story mode you can just ignore the deadline if you get the memory as quick as possible. It only shows (roughly) when the main story will continue

this is probably dumb of me to ask but I'm guessing the main way of making more money is by going to bright world and beating things? asking because either i wasn't paying enough attention to the tutorial and missed the 'this is how you get more money bit' or that wasn't explained (sorry if that came across in any way other than honest curiosity, I have been known to be rude or say things that can be taken in multiple different ways than what I meant :(, so please forgive this dumb grunt his possibly very stupid question).

You didn't miss any tutorials about it. The game doesn't really explain it since, just like you thought, in the Full mode beating enemies is the only way to make money besides using cheats (if you enabled them at the start). If you play on the Story mode, you'll be given 500G each day since you can't fight enemies on that mode. I didn't really have any money problems while testing though, so please let me know if you feel that you're constantly in need of more money. In that case money might be a bit unbalanced, which can happen so early in a game's development

thanks for the quick reply, no I wasn't asking due to having problems just wanted to know how to go about it before dropping whatever money you start with on stuff, kinda bad practice to use money in a game if you don't know how to make more you know, learned that lesson with another game (don't ask which I can't remember) that when you ran out you had 2-3 days to make more to pay rent or game over, though from what I can tell this game doesn't have that consequence, I'd thank god but A). he's not reponsible, you are so thank you so very, very much Bright Sun Studios, and B) I'm actually (from what I can tell) a weird atheist, I believe there is the possibility that higher beings exist out there in this universe but also that if they wished us to worship them they'd damn well make themselves known, I'm not getting on my knees for some all-powerful being lest I know that's what they actually want and can actually prove they're all-powerful. (sorry tangent that was definitely unnecessary but fun to write :D).

...and it wasn't meant to be a discussion killer, anyway finished the game so far, on a scale of 1-10 I give an 7 interesting story, lovely renders, loveable but realistic characters with flaws like you'd find in a real person and a fun and interesting take on combat (notice how I didn't mention adult content, whatever amount of it you consider? that is honestly because despite playing games from this site as a way to well..., fap I do actually like for it to be more interesting than that, I like being able to relate to the character I'm playing as and the others they interact with something your games are great at by the way Bright Sun Studios :extremelyhappy:), truth be told it's an 7 in my opinion because that gives me a bit of leeway for when you finish it (don't expect the mythical 10/10 though, because in my opinion that means perfect and perfection is an ideal, something ever to strive for but to never reach, because once you reach that point how do you improve?)

Alas, I got the game over screen after the deadline when I played the Story Mode for the first time and the same for the second time.
It's probably a bug, I fear.

Others have reported that they could complete the story on the Story mode, but I'll look into it. Maybe you did something that caused the bug that they didn't do. If I find that it's indeed a bug, I'll try to fix it for version 0.2
