Exactly, any artist knows that hands are the most difficult thing to draw, especially in difficult poses. AI has lot of hand and foot errors because most artists aren't good at it either. This discussion is pointless, and it only happens because some dickheads just want to feel good about themselves. Even if it really is AI, so what? Not like it matters when the results are mostly great.
Eh, I'd say the results aren't mostly great. There are only 2 AI games I follow, that are of a decent standard of uniqueness and standardization (if your girl looks different in every CG, get the heck outta here.) In fairness, though, I'm just as picky for HS, HS2, and Koi. I only have one HS game I like, and can count the number of Koi or HS2 games I like on one hand-- they just have to look visually interesting compared to the original system.
Also, to not re-reply to the same thing, but I just thought of something else to say: it would stand to reason that the issues with hands/feet are coming to light more because AI is making people look for it. Also, also, there is the fact that there are some intentional/natural outliers to this: lots of nonhuman creatures that may have been used to train AI don't have as many digits; a lot of goblin girl art gives them 3 fingers and a thumb. Or, for photorealism, pictures of real polydacytly. (actually, googling it to make sure I'm conjugating polydactyl right, the pictures look like AI art, for the preaxial and postaxial polydactyly)
