Is it just me or you have to close the game to quit the game over screen?

Are the sex scenes just limited to game overs? Also seems that hiding doesn't work. Ghosts can still damage you even if you're inside of lockers.

the poltergeist (i.e. the floaty ones) are the ones can still damage you while you are hiding. The others cannot as far as i can tell. Also, yeah the scenes are limited to the game overs. You damage them via holding right click to use the UV torch

So the retry button does actually work. Not sure if it works for everyone, but if you go into the menu and select killswitch, then hold left click on the middle of the symbol it respawned me back at the vendor in the bathroom. From then on the retry button worked for me even when i died.
Also there is a "gallery". You need to pick up the pages from the black cats, then open the hint book in the top right of the corner. If you hold left click on the symbol on the page of the girl you want to see you will insta die to them and see the game over screen.

How do you get away when a ghost catches you ?? It consume the scrolls but I can't seem to get free

unless im stupid or unless the code is changed for each person the code i got (but have not sorted out yet) was 9089. Again, i might be stupid but i guarantee that 0, 8 and 9 are apart of my code, so just guess the last number and the sequence from there
Mine was 0570. So it's individual on each run. It's better to just buy the hint for 30, top 4(caffer ones) explain where the pieces of code are.

Game is definitely unfinished for what it's offering, but it does show potential.
Looking at the developer, the game seems to be in good hands, but I don't understand why they put a paywall up for some of their previous games this year when they have been free and practically untouched for 1-3 years on their itch page until the paywall

i believe 5, 4 you can encounter and then there is the boss (although i have not reached the boss yet)
The floaty ones
fish girl
big lady
and a hl2 barnacle type enemy that hangs from the ceiling and waits for you to go under it
