That second minigame felt like chipping away at granite with a toothpick. The art is amazing, but throughout the course of trying to beat it I didn't even want to beat my shmeat anymore. That's the opposite of what's intended right? Games like these need a bit more hand holding considering we're most likely playing one handed.
You'll see the same design in a bunch of games and so on. The original is the Monster Girl Encyclopedia one, that's what all those similar looking hellhounds are based on.
