Overview:
A lonely wife and her best friend enjoy a weekend of debauchery and lighthearted adventures. Mostly text based with a handful of black and white images to spice up the story. This is more of a choice-based story than a traditional game. There are no stats, only variations of the same overall theme/story. This story was written and made primarily in two days for a specific person. The story was made using Twine 2/sugarcube. Images are Base64. The most current version is hosted on NeoCities.​

Ok - I do think that the two tags dont fit, but I see why they are there. You have a few choices, but I think they have no impact of the story itself, just on the scenes and then you get minor changes in the end.

The story seems to be the same.

Too much book, not enough sex? or too much sex, not enough book? My intention is to expand on the scenes, especially towards the end. I am not finished, but I wanted to release what I had because it's easy to miss your own mistakes, and more eyes on it would help make it a better story.

I got so tired of all the overused pictures of porn stars I wasn't even into that I decided it would be better without anything. You see the same five or six women in a lot of these stories. My sister doesn't look like Riley Reid, and it's hard to suspend disbelief when she was my step-sister in another game and my babysitter in another. I felt like it would be a distraction, and left the character descriptions ambiguous enough that your own mind would fill in the blanks. If someone wanted images for it, I'm sure they could make a .zip file of them. I have never learned how to add them to the story, because I never wanted pictures in the first place. I'm not positive that it would be an easy task, in the documentation for Twine 2, they recommend against heavy use of images.

That being said, I have no issues with editing my post to include an image pack if someone made it, but I have zero intentions of ever making one for this game. I made this story for a woman who isn't into porn, so I attempted to avoid being overly graphic/foul.

There are two endings, and the choices you make earlier in the game determine some different dialogue. Technically, it ends one way (home with your husband) but how you get there is different. Of the two paths, currently there is a choice of two dialogue options that can be shown to you based on what you did or didn't do Saturday (day 2). There was going to be an option to play without ever doing anything sexual, but it was a novelty option. I may just add it back in there for fun, and to give the reader more choices. It just didn't seem like the most important thing to worry about at the moment. Thank you for taking the time to check it out.

Personal Opinion/Possible misinterpretations:

They said "book to game" not "book to sex/porn" so they may be referring to options rather than the smut in the story. Though their ratio preferences may vary greatly from my own...
I personally, like a plot to properly motivate/explain the "plot" so I'd recommend enough story in between the lemons to effectively move from choice to choice and scene to scene. Plenty of choices (generally to move around or from kinks) to make the story feel more personal, though not so many that it's overwhelming (so no 30 option scenes).

I'm kinda tired of all the "real porn" games on here. If I wanted to watch porn, I would; however, it most likely would be animated anyway...
I come here to play a game that (especially in the case of Text-games) requires some imagination. I do like having character portraits (again, I prefer 2D), but I feel it's better to either have an artist commission based on in-game descriptions, or the option for the player to add their own images/gifs to suit individual tastes. Therefore the option to add image packs could work. Let everyone make personalized image scenes if they need/want them. If it's not too hard, an easily adjustable portrait system (similar to the custom characters in Lilith's Throne) could work. Basically have character folders where the game pulls the portrait from, that lets players put their own image in.

I do enjoy a nice non-sexual route in sex games. Even if it is played more as a joke, it does help make it feel more like the player's choices mean something. A decent variety of endings is something that can increase replayability, so I think putting the non-sexual ending back in eventually would be a good move. Just try to make the non-sexual choices fun to read too. One thing I don't really find very fun is having a game either mock or punish choices that aren't expected of the genre.

Most of all, have fun writing the stories. Don't let anyone bully you into making something you don't want to make. Figure out the way you want the story to flow and end, and make it right.
