This list is dedicated exclusively to games developed in Honey Select. I created it to keep track of the titles I have played and to build a ranking of my own. I also hope it can be useful to other people interested in this kind of game.

Each game includes a personalized card where romantic interests (LIs), main girls, and some secondary girls are presented. I have also added some labels that help to identify the general theme of the game and an estimate of the duration in hours. This length is only a guideline, as everyone has a different reading pace.

On each card, I also highlight my three favorite girls in the game.

I appreciate games that have a good story and quality renders (which I'm quite picky about), and that are developed in Ren'Py. I'm not attracted to games that include labels like Futa, gay, or Loli, but other than that, I'm open to suggestions and willing to review new proposals.

My current top ten game (in alphabetical order):

As I play new titles, I will add them to this thread, as well as when there are updates to the games already listed.

Eternum by Caribdis

This is one of those games that honestly doesn’t need much of an intro. For me, it’s easily one of the best HS2 titles out there. The renders are on a whole other level and stunning. The story does a great job of mixing serious moments with lighthearted ones, and it all flows smoothly from scene to scene.

I also have to say that the humor landed for me. Some genuinely funny moments made me laugh, which helped break things up nicely. All the LIs are great and diverse, and each one brings something special to the table. I’m a huge fan of Alex and Nancy, no doubt they’re my favorites.

The lewd scenes are seriously top-notch, and the soundtrack is easily one of the best I’ve heard in any AVN. It fits every scene so well and adds to the overall vibe. One moment that completely blew me away was the elevator scene with Nancy. The mood, the music, the whole setup it just hit perfectly and stuck with me.

Honestly, I don’t have much more to add. This game’s amazing, no question, and it’s 100% in my top three.

My Bully is My Lover by NiiChan

This game truly blew me away for so many reasons. The renders are incredible, adding a level of detail and emotion that immediately draws you in. The story is nothing short of magnificent. It touched my heart deeply and even made me cry in several scenes, which says a lot about the strength of the writing.

All the LIs are amazing and feel incredibly real. Each one carries their past struggles and personal challenges, making their story arcs deeply emotional. For me, the standout storyline is definitely Emma’s arc. It’s pure cinema. Watching how she met the MC, dealt with her mother’s death, and fought to keep going was truly moving. Every love interest has a similarly compelling journey, showing how they confront their problems and grow.

The animations are very well done, perfectly matching the emotional tone of the story. The soundtrack deserves praise as well; it fits beautifully with every moment and elevates the overall experience.

Honestly, this game feels like a film, a masterpiece that you have to play. If you haven’t experienced it yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. Huge congratulations to NiiChan for creating such an incredible work of art.

Sicae by NiiChan

SICAE is the prequel to My Bully is My Lover, and it brings a very different tone to the experience. The story is quite engaging and develops at a great pace, with a darker focus on themes like war and conflicts between different clans. It leans more toward mystery and intrigue.

One thing that really stood out to me was the combat animations. They are very well executed and add a lot of weight to the key scenes. The action feels smooth, impactful, and keeps you hooked during the most intense moments.

The LIs are also very well written, each with their backstory and motivations. For me, the one that stands out the most is Nicole. I love how she is and that crazy side of hers that makes her truly unique.

I highly recommend playing SICAE, especially because it helps you better understand certain aspects of the other game (My Bully is My Lover).

Pale Carnations by Mutt & Jeff

I have divided feelings about this game. I'm generally not a big fan of themes like BDSM or humiliation, and the brothel setting initially put me off. However, once I gave it a try, I have to admit I was genuinely surprised.

For an HS1 game, the renders are incredible. The story is quite original, and the overall concept feels fresh. All the LIs are interesting, and something I really appreciate is that each of them has her own path. It keeps things engaging and adds real depth to the experience.

The sex scenes are well done and enjoyable. That said, what bothers me personally is the presence of certain humiliation scenes involving the girls. They made me feel a bit uncomfortable and even a little sad at times.

Still, despite my reservations, the game ended up surprising me in a good way. Even if I have divided feelings about some parts, I think it's a unique experience that’s worth checking out.

Companion of Darkness by Berkili4

The story in this game is fascinating; it's the main reason why I love it. I especially enjoy it because I'm a big fan of stories that involve superpowers and action. The plot delivers exactly that, and it does it well.

The renders improve noticeably as the game progresses. There's a clear jump in quality from the first chapter to the more recent ones, showing the creators' growth and effort. When it comes to love interests, there are plenty of options, and the good thing is that you can choose certain paths without being locked out of too many others.

I also really like the concept of factions within the game. The idea of supporting one side or another adds depth and replay value to the story.

If I had to point out one negative, it would be that the sex scenes sometimes feel a bit forced, and a few of them happen at rather random moments in the story. But aside from that, this is an extraordinary game and, without a doubt, one of my personal favorites.

Oppai Odyssey by Cryoxxx

At first, the game presents a plot with considerable potential, including war, space politics, and betrayals, but then it loses coherence. The script ends up contradicting itself, and the characters change their attitudes for no clear reason. What starts as a serious story feels more like a series of disconnected scenes.

The visuals are one of the strong points. The animations, renders, and sci-fi design are very well done. That said, many of the "aliens" basically look like humans with weird ears.

The romance is quite disappointing. Lyn, who seems to be the main love interest, disappears without explanation. Nyx dominates most of the romantic scenes, while the other girls mostly feel like "one-night stands" with little emotional depth. The romantic connections between the MC and other characters often feel forced or superficial.

Speaking of the MC, he doesn’t act like a captain nor does he have much charisma. Sometimes it seems like he just says "yes" to everything and sleeps with whoever crosses his path.

Overall, visually this game is top-notch, but as a story, it falls short.

New Horizon by KawaiiSukebe

I really liked it. The japanese atmosphere is very well done, and the characters are well-written. Some of the protagonist’s decisions feel a bit forced at times, but overall, the story is engaging and well-paced. I found all the LIs interesting and appealing.

I empathized a lot with Chika. I do feel the protagonist could have done a bit more to help her, but I also think some of the criticism towards her is exaggerated. Her situation is harsh and shaped by past abuse, so I never felt any sort of rejection towards her on the contrary, it made me want to help her even more.

Visually, the game is stunning. The renders are on par with some of the best AVNs I’ve played. The lewd scenes, while not that many yet, are very well.

Overall, even if a few things feel slightly forced, the game has a ton of potential and left me with a very good impression.

Cross Realms by DuskDuck

This game surprised me. It ends up being an epic fantasy story that truly draws you in. The world-building is excellent and creative: all the stuff about realms, Qi, cultivation levels, and sects might feel like a lot at first, but it’s well explained, so even someone with no experience in that kind of setting can follow along without any trouble. Once you're into it, it honestly feels like watching a good fantasy series.

The pacing is well-balanced, giving space to both the action and character development. It’s a slow-burn kind of game, but the story makes it worth it. I like that it focuses more on building relationships and the mystery around the MC’s origins. The whole crystal necklace and missing mother plotline add a nice layer of intrigue.

Visually, it looks awesome. The renders are incredible, the different realms and locations have their distinct vibe, and the animations are smooth. The LIs we've seen so far are likable, and the battle scenes fit the tone of the game.

In short, Cross Realms has a lot of potential. It’s still in an early stage of development, but if it continues to focus on solid storytelling, an interesting world, and well-written characters, it could become one of the best AVNs.

Wild Cats by LopaPhi

One of my favorite games. It doesn't throw everything at you right away, but it knows what it's doing, giving just enough to keep you satisfied while building up real anticipation. The story is genuinely good, with a nice balance of serious and light-hearted moments. I found myself getting surprisingly invested in the MC and his journey.

The girls are all hot and have their own personalities. At first, I wasn't sure about them because of the teasing, but it grew on me quickly. Like the dev says, they're wild cats, and the dynamic works. The visual style is simple in a good way, and the animations are solid. For a 0.2 release, there’s already a decent amount of content.

Also, the slower pacing actually helps. Not every AVN needs instant lewd scenes to be good. If the story and characters are strong, and here they are, the payoff is even better.

If you're into AVNs with character development, fun dialogue, and a unique setting, this one’s definitely worth your time. Tons of potential here.

DropOut Saga by LazyBloodlines

A pleasant surprise. The narrative is well-crafted and keeps you hooked from the start. It’s refreshing to have an adult protagonist with a darker inner voice that adds a lot of personality and depth to the character.

The story blends school drama with darker mafia elements, and while it might sound odd at first, it actually works better than expected. Themes like ambition, betrayal, and survival are well integrated and give real weight to the plot.

Visually, the game looks great. The renders are solid, and the sex scenes are well done... though here comes one of its weak points: variety. So far, almost all the scenes involve the same two characters, while the rest haven't had any scenes at all.

Even so, it's still an interesting game.

Hero to Villain by Izumii

An interesting concept with a lot of potential. The premise is definitely the strongest point: you play as a former hero who was betrayed, killed, and now returns seeking revenge. That alone makes the story stand out among other superpower-themed visual novels.

Visually, it delivers. The renders and lighting are well done.

That said, the lewd content feels a bit weak. With so many girls introduced, you’d expect more variety and scenes. For now, the adult content doesn’t quite live up to the setup.

Even so, the game is worth playing.

Realm Invader by Invader Gary

A game that's as fun as it is visually stunning. The character models are unique and very well crafted.

The story flows well and mixes comedy with solid narrative elements. The humor is quite good and fits nicely with the game's overall tone. There’s also a touch of mystery that keeps things interesting, and the variety among the girls (in both looks and personality) gives the game a refreshing feel compared to many other visual novels.

The only downsides are the slow update schedule and a gallery system that feels a bit clunky.

Even so, this is a very enjoyable game, entertaining, visually appealing, and full of charm.

Slatford by Aapek

A very promising experience. Even though there’s no lewd content, it manages to grab your attention thanks to its well-structured story and a cast of love interests that all feel interesting and worth pursuing.

Visually, the game delivers as well: the renders are great, and the girls all look amazing. Personally, Jazmin became my favorite, which is surprising, since I rarely pick the childhood friend type.

Overall, it’s a strong start. The story is engaging, the pacing feels right, and there’s a solid foundation for something really good. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Even though it’s been in development for less than a year, it already offers a solid amount of high-quality renders and animations. The story is interesting, the prologue felt a bit long, but it still managed to keep me engaged.

The characters are well-written, and visually, the game looks great. Animations are smooth and polished, and the overall presentation is well done. The concept is also interesting: the protagonist comes from a rural background and gradually realizes he wants more out of life, which leads him to move to the city.

There are also some minigames. They’re not amazing, but they’re decent and add a bit of variety.

All in all, this is a game with a lot of potential, and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Myth of Slayer by Oldcat

A solid AVN inspired by Solo Leveling. The story is quite engaging. It’s clear that it draws heavy inspiration from Solo Leveling, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you enjoy that type of setting. The whole idea of portals, awakenings, and fighting monsters feels familiar, but it’s well executed and fills that kind of niche nicely.

One thing I appreciated is that the game doesn’t try to throw in a bunch of random female characters. Instead, it focuses on a small group of girls who are likable and fit naturally into the story.

The inner demon character has an interesting twist: rather than being obsessed with power or control, he just wants to chill, which gives him a laid-back and amusing vibe.

The girls are fine, not amazing yet, but they have charm, and the lewd scenes work well. Overall, I’m enjoying it.
