I just went through the walkthrough and read the part about it being buggy. Is it just the line deliveries after beating Tiberius or could there also be a bug related to finding the book? Because I'm getting the same result in Zanark as I got in the Royal Library. Thanks.

Someone reported being unable to get the book from Zanark, and on closer inspection I realized the logic was bugged, and you can't get the book at all. It's an easy fix (I have handled it already), but it's going to be a while until the public version gets it, since the last release happened a few days ago (and I usually don't hotfix the public version to avoid messing with two different builds at the same time).
The game should be finished this year. The main story is already complete, so you shouldn't miss much by playing it now. The worst that could happen is if I expand one or two side-characters more, and they end up being featured in the ending (which you might be unable to see a second time unless you keep a save before going through the final section). Saves are compatible between updates (you just have to remember to copy/paste them before deleting the old folder), so there isn't much pain on that front either.
As for how much content there is, I have seen saves with 30-40 hours of gameplay time. It's hard for me to gauge it precisely, though, as I don't really play it as a regular player would. Also, if you are a completionist, there are some mutually exclusive paths/events, and I think you need at least 2 playthroughs to see everything (there is no "new game +", though).
The self-extracting .exe file is also actually a .zip file, it just has an archiver executable added before the archive which zip format allows as a header, so you can unzip it just the same with any archiver... For example if you have termux on a phone install p7zip and run 7z x Caliross.exe and it'll unpack it. Any other archiver also works.
Anyway I have a problem in 0.23, the sailor in the inn that gropes MC, his CGs dont disappear until next scene. Its fine when he slaps butt as the image is tiny, but when he gropes boobs the CG covers entire screen and nothing I do makes it go away, even saving and loading preserves the CG. You can still walk around and leave the inn and check your inventory etc but CG covers the screen otherwise.
Also pregnancy is broken sorta, I constantly get dropped out of pregnancy waiting game into the main map. For example, in a cowgirl playthrough if Erica gets milked at the farm she gets dropped off there, and if she gets milked at home then the job scheduler drops her off at the job, and I have to make way back home to proceed with pregnancy.
The CG staying on screen will be fixed in the next update. For now, you have a work around available: in your inventory (key items) there should be something called "time control". It gives a bunch of debug options, and one is for clearing images.
Thanks for letting me know about the issues during pregnancy, I'll make sure to fix those as well. I am not entirely surprised by the scheduler, since it was added way later in development and I couldn't really test all possible interactions, but I didn't expect the milking at the farm to go unnoticed this long.
Edit: For the pregnancy issues, you might have to wait version .25 (if I had seen the message sooner, I could have bundled it with a hotfix for .24 I just released, but at this point I'd rather avoid bombarding the patrons with more updates).

I noticed it years ago but I always assumed that surely SOMEONE would have told you and you'd fix it but it never happened. You have your patrons who pay you money, why aren't they playing the game? I appreciate them funding it so I don't have to, but its weird.
I assume the pregnancy stuff is more niche, or maybe they are so used to the game they don't use the schedule or they never tried the cowgirl + pregnancy at the same time. The game has been in development for a really long time, so I figure some just don't play all the updates. It's hard to say, really.
Anyway, thanks for bringing this up to me. Also, the fixes will be included in the .24 release, since it did need another hotfix afterall.

whit the Blessings at the start of the game i know the Blessing from Santhora give us an extra Scene in the Temple of Fertility in the starting City.
so my question is:
do any of the other Goddesses/god, have any lasting Gameplay impact, or scene's connected to them?
and if so are there any in game way to obtain the Blessings throughout the game to gain access to said content?
else it would seems that you should gravitate to Santhora by default regardless of what the others offer you...
(not that there bonuses seems that good in my opinion, except the extra spell fore the default setup, but can't remember a situation where i have ever needed it...)

maybe by doing another side quest or something, that will let us get Her into our Pocket Dimension and and getting the Sweet Slime Ring Scene, we can still get her as our Slime Girlfriend (Dominant Slime Girlfriend! and Slime Children!), but also resolve the Lumberjack quest?
because she is no longer there, but we can still cuddle up whit Her?

I wanted to have something for each deity, but this might end up getting cut, I am not sure yet. There is no way to obtain the blessings outside of the start, at least not without using the debug tools (they are meant as something minor, but unique, for Erica's background).
If I get you right, you want an option to take the slime girl to your Pocket Dimension and/or another way to get the Slime Ring (which you can only get if you lose at least once and then decide not to attack her anymore, if I remember correctly). I am not sure about the Pocket Dimension (it feels like nature suits her better), but maybe I can think of something for the ring.

well if she ware recruited into our Pocked Dimension she would no longer be in the wood, so she would no longer be a problem fore the Lumberjack's, sorry if my incoherent rambling made that one unclear...
but anyway, since you mentioned you feel like she is more of an fit Nature better Girl, maybe we cold make an nature Preserve fore monster Girls, in our Land if we become a Noble, and invite the Slime Girl, and other species, you know an aria they can be in please away from mean humans that usually don't try to communicate to well whit them?

kind of an attempt to foster better cooperation's between non human species and humanoids and such, i would imagine Erica would be fore non human rights and try and make a safe space fore other races if she have the opportunity fore it, after all she is one of the prosecuted species as an shapeshifter...

I think I get the overall idea now. I can't make any promises, since I am trying to get things wrapped up for Caliross, but I'll think about doing something more with her, and see if I can fit it in my plans. It's more likely that I do something like this a few years down the line, though, if there is interest for a "Caliross 1.1".
If you win, the slime girl isn't a problem, because you tell it to stop harassing the loggers. If you lose, the original summoner just leaves it harassing the loggers (since harassing them is the whole point of them summoning the slimegirl there in the first place) and there would likely be active orders precluding relocation... since again, the whole point is harassing those loggers.

Encountered a bug in the fourth temple that deletes save data when you attempt to overwrite an existing save file. I have encountered something similar in the past elsewhere in the game but wasn't able to reproduce it since it had wiped out my saves before I realised the problem.
Game version: 0.9.23
Stage in story: Chapter 4
In the fourth temple when you first enter B2 inspect the stone column for the first time. After the dialog is finished inspect the stone column a second time. Now when you attempt to save the game you get an error sound effect. If you tried to overwrite an existing save it deletes that slot instead. Initially you don't see any difference in the user interface but if you exit and go back in the slot is now empty and the file itself in Windows is gone.
I am not familiar with RPGM development but I assume this is just RPGM trying to prevent writing a corrupt save file?If there is the chance this just happens to be a problem with my existing game progress here is a save file:

Does this happen if you run the game as an administrator? Which folder did you use to install the game? Any chance it's set to read only? Does moving the game's folder to existing ones like "downloads" or "documents" fix the issue?
FWIW, I tried it in 0.9.24c and got the same result: when I try to save I get the error sound and the save in that slot has been deleted. This was with a fresh copy in the same parent folder I've been using for Caliross for years: no read-only anything, no mark of the web, permissions are good, etc. Running as administrator gives the same result.
One other thing I tried is using the pillar, going and getting one of the medals, and then coming back. When I used the pillar again I got the "insert medal" menu. After doing so, saving still works. Using the pillar afterwards, with no medals, resulted in this "error saving/save deleted" issue.
Okay, I think I finally figured out what's the issue here: if I give players choices, but then use a script to hide them all (if, for example, they don't have any of the necessary items like in the case of the medals) the game doesn't like it (maybe the engine is still waiting for you to pick a choice that is never going to happen). Now, this specific instance is easily fixed, but there might be more in the game, since I didn't know this was a problem.
I'll fix this, but I don't now if I can track down all the other instances, hopefully it won't eat too much time.
