The fuck is wrong with you people, let the dev make the game they want. Most of us want to enjoy an author's full vision. If you don't wanna wait then make your own goddamn game.
The paid version doesn't have any extras, it's just a month ahead in development. As a patron, you also get the art preview each month. Some tiers get access to a short story I write in my spare time and vote for what happens in it, as you go higher in the tiers you get to vote for monthly polls to give me direction on some things, if you go higher up you get two votes for the polls and stuff like that. You might as well browse the Patreon page for all the details.Aside from being available weeks in advance, what extra content does the paid premium deluxe version™ have?.
Does it have controller support? Is a walkthrough included in the game? Exclusive scenes?
As you know, I've never played a demo of this game before, but I enjoyed this dev's previous game despite having problems with the maze and initial perks in the first mission.
Also, looking at the tags, this would be the first RPG I'd try that doesn't have a combat system.

I don't like strong-arming my supporters for basic features. Support for the game allowed me to get more art and work on it full time, but people that can't support me should still be able to enjoy the game, hence the current setup.
The walkthrough must be updated, but it's freely available (linked in the game's folder as well). Maybe I should make the walkthrough a paid option though, since I hate working on it.
The game does have a combat system, but it's not the focus (I partially regret not taking the time to design a better system, but it's serviceable and since it's not the focus, it's probably for the best if I didn't go down that rabbit hole).

Neither 'it is free' or 'make your own' are arguments, never were and never will be. The game is dragging its legs by spreading wider and wider. It will be better to just finish this one and start another one, preferably on more modern engine and with actually working gallery. And probably a refreshed interest from developer.

I tried this on version 0.9.29.a and it seems to work just fine for me, do you have the latest public version?
Should I play this game if I don't like tags like "mind control, hypnosis..."? Judging by the reviews, that seems to be the main content here.

You can avoid it all and there's plenty of other stuff in the game. If it's just those two tags you don't like, I'd say to at the very least try it. It's definitely one of the better RPGM games on the site.
First scene is third spider dream. Start the Broodmother plotline in Tarkus Slums Temple at Night. Take three naps, choosing 'Surrender' each time. Profit.
Dunno about second.
Third scene is (I think) Fourth Temple Sex Instructor. There are only two Succubi that I know of outside the Succubus Brothel, the one in Tarkus is straight masturbation. But I haven't done the Island Spa or the Secret Non-Shapeshifter Temple near the Island Spa, either place would be prime real estate for Succubi.
If you're fine with Corruption, you might be ok with the Nari and Queen of Hearts plotlines. Both use hypnosis, but they don't really care what you do when they're not around, so the hypnosis is mostly to make them impossible to refuse when they want something from you.
There's also a modelling job off the job board, accessable in Chapter 2 that turns you into a depraved, horny slut when you look at the item reward and a couple of different branching scenes at Laura's place (fashion designer in Tarkus South of the Academy).
The Mermaid in the Second Temple technically uses hypnosis, that's how their Music Magic works.
