Lol, 60% of devs acually dont plan ahead they tend to fly by the edge of there seat approach to game making. Adding content on a whem then decided against it, restarting, and so on.
Road mapping a game is a clear and easy thing to do. If they simply did that all that's left is simply fill in the work. 80% of why devs make lame excuses as to lack of content each update is due to this. Becuase there still in the fill in the blank process.
Not saying game making is easy, but sitting down with pen and paper is somthing any sixth grader can do.
That aside, I happen to enjoy this game so here is hoping the dev has a clear roadmap set aside.

Patron was just updated listing the next patch coming in May. The patch after still lists July but I have a strong feeling that will change.

it seems you have to start a new game, i could start the new content but got stuck since the new pool location does not seem to unlock and you need to go there to progress
