Can someone please tell me how on earth I get to the chandelier? It says I need to use the hook, but I already have it equipped, and when I use it, nothing happens, absolutely nothing, and I don't go to the chandelier.

you have to use the hookshot on the center of the chandelier, there is a pillar on the left side of the 2nd floor that you can line up with to get to the center

does anyone know if you can remove: the top log, where it sais that you got damaged, the flashing before you orgasm and removing only the battle soundeffects?
I had found it by chance and it was a pain to bring it out again
Make sure you have a blue circle shining (no matter where) , go over to it, save your game, and press F5 repeatedly to reload until you have the item shown in the screenshot.
The merchant cat will come and a scene will start with it.
