RPGM - Completed - Captive Princess Marie and the Castle of Depraved Monsters [Final] [HarapekoChicken]

Not worth it at all. The tedious way this plays out ain't worth the effort whatsoever. 20 scenes and they are all dogshit with most being sex with a fat ugly pig or ugly pond scum aka goblins. This plus the nasty mosaics make it worth even less

The game is tedious, buggy, and confusing. It is nothing but a series of the worst kind of cryptic game puzzles. The game crashed the first time I launched. In one room there were about 40 closed chests and I had to guess which ones had an item while monsters ran around the room kicking you out. I guessed correctly on my second chest!... but proceeded to open up all the other chests anyway because in this game missing one item means no progression. It's all a bunch of fetch quests and door codes. I got a bad end just minutes into the game because I guessed a Goblin's dog's name incorrectly. Then I got permanently soft-locked because when I reloaded a save, the place where I get an essential item wasn't there anymore, even on restart.

It's giving 2 stars because the art is good and some of the dialogue lines of random NPCs is mildly funny. The gameplay adds nothing, the game only serves to take away value from the art and story.

Captive Princess Marie and the Castle of Depraved Monsters is a game with good themes and ideas but bad execution, overall an average experience where you will get frustrated due to it's puzzle mechanics.

Pros:

Great animation and art, great story and themes for monster x girl lovers.

Cons:

Easy to get lost in the game, no journal to keep track of progress and where to go, few content.

This is a decent game that is good for about one sitting if your actively trying to beat it.

Pretty good art but the scenes were not as extreme as expected from preview images. The images shown in the preview is about as extreme as it gets.

Main themes are: Rape, insemination and egg laying if you indulge in tentacle scenes. The main gameplay is "Bring item to this NPC to get raped" mostly straight forward.

I got stuck in the kitchen with the red goblin because I didn't see a hole in the wall. Look carefully at the wall to the left if you have gotten in to the kitchen.

Pros:
Game art is pretty nice. Gotta give props to the artist, and all that junk. Situations are pretty good. I'm usually not satisfied by games this short, but it did it for me.

Cons:
Game is confusing and difficult. For the most part, you'll be spending a lot of time mashing up against objects to try and find where you're supposed to go. The Lewdness meter only matters if it hits 100%, so it's kind of not really useful.

You can unlock all scenes right at the start, so it's not bad, but you won't get the slow corruption in the lower right. For some reason I like that ahegao a lot.

Is this a very basic RPGM title? Yes. Is this a good game? No.

Did I cum? Yes.

The artwork is good. The translation is passable. I'm a sucker for the corruption fetish, although you'd be hard pressed not to believe that Princess Marie wasn't a slut all along.

There's no combat, and not really any gameplay at all. You go on repetitive fetch quests, mash the action button on everything over and over again until your finger bleeds, and then you click through some sex scenes.

Actually, just skip the game, go left at the start, and tell the fairy you wanna watch the scenes. That'll save you an hour.

A puzzle game that wants to be more.

Has a story, at hot MC that gets into lots of erotic situations which corrupts her each time she does them the first time, and are repeatable. Art is nice, but that's about it that's nice.

Overall a puzzle game, with scenes in between and they give hints to the next step but you have to pay attention to the maps and what the characters are saying. Really needs a quest log, or something to keep track of where you are. Easy to get lost, and this is a game that despite giving you the option to unlock the gallery right away, needs a walkthrough.

PROS:

• Gallery Unlock right away so no need to play

CONS:

• Wants to be more than it is
• Puzzles without a log just makes it harder

Overall if you want to see tits and scenes open the gallery, no real need for game play of walking around looking for glowing things or the next character to talk to. Could be better but lacking as is.

the scenes are overall pretty solid, but oh my god the gameplay is just designed to waste your time. "here's a key for the room you were in earlier for a chest at the very end of it! go backtrack!" fun gameplay!!!!

legitimately, i think my taste in porn games can be kind of questionable, because sometimes games like this can still really appeal to me if the concept and scenes are good enough--and while this game's scenes are good, i just could not deal with any more of this time-wasting bullshit. it sucks!!!

This is a fetch quest, without combat. Gameplay is buggy, with frequent game ending bugs. The reward for the time wasted is low.

Overall: 2/5. Do not recommend.

2 stars only for the arts.
This game is not intuitive, and for a puzzle game is a bad feature. With some enemy you can talk, other will fuck you so you think you must avoid the sex scene but then you discover you must do some sex scene. In many occasion you end up interacting with everybody because you don't know even what are you looking for and the worst puzzle is the box room with the three wolfs.
At least is short, only 1 hour to complete the good ending.
Overall is a bad game.

Short game. Too short that I can't fap to it. The art alone saved it from 1 star. Puzzle is cool, story is good enough for HRPG, recollection is there. Yea it's very basic.

Didn't cum but art is nice. Disappointed, 2/5.

Decent RPGM game. Took me about 90 mins to finish it.
Gameplay wise you walk around solving puzzles. Puzzles can be annoying, but i managed to beat the game without looking up answers. Although to be honest once or twice i was lost to the point of just clicking everything until something worked (but the map isn't too huge so it isn't as miserable as it could've been).
Art is good and there is fair amount of different situations. You can also access full gallery right from the start.

Overall if you are ok with puzzles (or just want to look at the gallery) this game is fairly good. Nothing too special, but nothing bad either.
