From what he gave earlier, a gallery and free mode has been added. And some bug fixes somewhere, as someone posted the change logs for it earlier

Can't understand on that part, but free mode is basically "choose where you want to start". Will you take damage is unknown, but you can still get a game over from the boss

For the last segment of the Simon says boss I just pause the game at every instruction and write down it down on a piece of paper
The Simplest way is to just screencap her board before she blocks it. My Playthrough i made Liberal use of the Fact that i could pause During that.
On the left side it tells you what arrow to press for a while. Eventually it will be clouded and you have to memorize it, but that will get you very far into the fight.
I honestly enjoy the clap the obsidian halls boss does when you finish the simon says game with her, and the lesser succubi cheering for you at the end is just fantastic

You can also throw them above the boss so they don't get activated at all but it's kinda easier to dodge them in the second half.
Yeah its not too hard. it just takes a few attempts. Figuring out how to not touch three notes was more frustrating.

Damn I wish I knew that before, would have made things much easier; I beat the boss the old fashioned way of running for my life and screaming the whole way
