My good man, I read dozens of posts here every day, have to keep an eye on the Discord server, check itch.io for more comments and the chat on Patreon. If you think I'll pay extra attention just for you you are gravely mistaken, especially with that tone while you ask for help.

I tested the required steps plus some extras and had no game breaking problems. The "start at chapter 2" feature was a post testing run thing and couldn't be tested by me but was requested by me to speed up testing runs and make it easier for old players to enjoy new content.

I was having the same problem so I used save editior now I got the quest but its not progressing in the quest log .

Assuming you went to the castle and spoke with the Castellan, then you'll need to provide him with the 3 required items (gold, wood and steel), afterwards you'll have to wait 10 days.

Or just send me your save file and let me take a look :)

My bad, sorry. Frankly I thought you replied to a post that I had replied to didn't realize there was yet a 3rd person with the same issue

and this bug does not appear when you start with Chapter II (frankly don't know if it will, haven't tested that out either) rather it happens when you start a new game from scratch

At last count there are at least 4 people here who seem to 'run into it', would've assumed it would affect everyone starting from scratch using this build ...

1. theres 2 choices, eyther resurected the knight or marygold right, I choose marygold.
2. hidden village quest iswhen krall is xilled right. I alr complete it, even the prison break also completed.
3. probably this is the problem,

The quest to restore Marigold Castle is not appearing, i guess i need the trigger also did not activate for me, i need help with that.
Also the quest Far from home is not taken as completed even though i am on chapter 2 already, can someone take my save and fix that and also manually activate the trigger, i would appreciate the help.

So i've done every quest related to far from home can travel the world but it's still active on the commander's orders and now i can't get past the camp to the east in which you have to light a fire as a distraction. can anyone help?
