I really don't know if the dev fked up or not.
The game was wildly popular... alas bc fmc is a loli I assume?
But if the main game follows the original novel she gonna be 5 years older and there aint any other flashbacks. This game is litetrally a single chapter in the novel. Not sure if the original audience is gonna like that.

For me I really enjoy the graphics, just hope there will be actual battle thats not just a braindead filler as they journey to defeat the demon lord. And boy I don't know how the dev is gonna cramp a 200k characters story into a rpg game. Remember this, its either gonna be split in multiple parts/DLCS or will be developed for years before release. Propably depending on if his funding runs out midway lol.

And god I hope I didnt spoiler myself by reading the novel and there will be new and different routes/developments.
Novel is on novel18 syosetsu n6144hf U can navigate/read it with chrome auto mtl. But consider the sentence above if u rly want to (maybe..propably) spoiler urself.

Welp, I picked this up out of my backlog, curious to see what the hype was about. Like, the art-style looks promising enough I suppose, and the game has 28k sales on dlsite, which is pretty impressive for a dev's 1st game...

Looking into it, it seems that this game is based off of some kind of web-novel or the like? I'm not clear on the details, and I don't care overly much since as far as I'm aware, the original work isn't translated, but still. It's worth noting I suppose.

Leaving that aside, I dunno why a number of people are impressed with this game. It's utterly tiny and it's more of a VN in RPGM more than anything else. It doesn't really have any gameplay, though it does have hints of gameplay systems that are meant to be used in a larger game. The developer room that unlocks at the end does imply that this was basically more of a test project than anything else, meant to pave the way for a bigger game.

Even so, the main thing that stands out for this game, aside from the art, is Celica's nature as a closet masochist, which comes out of the closet during the story. You don't find super masochists on her level in games all that often tbh, so it was pretty amusing to watch it all. Unfortunately, the game's H-scenes are all rather short, with literally only 3 full on sex scenes in the whole game. There aren't that many H-scenes in general, and the basic 6 are basically repeated with variations for her increasing openness of her masochism. There's a NTR flavor as well... but honestly, that's very poorly implemented, relies too much on time skipping and suffers from the fact that we don't have almost any character description of development aside from Celica giving in more and more to her masochistic nature. It's hurt even more by the almost complete lack of world-building.

Indeed, some of the things mentioned in the game seem to be offered up in a way that seems to indicate that the Dev expected players to have knowledge of the original media that the game is based off of. There's a number of concepts mentioned that aren't properly explained, much like how the characters aren't explored properly.

The whole thing hinting about the situation of Celica's mother and so on for example.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Well, I suppose it's not a terrible time waster... but that's about all it is. There's no real gameplay, no real story, and the H is too weak tbh. Not something worth throwing money at even if it had an official translation... though perhaps it might be worth it if you want to support the dev so they can get out the main Celica game.

Oh, and I suppose it's worth mentioning that this isn't the latest version of the game. The latest on dlsite seems to be 1.08, but from what I've seen of the patch notes, the updates are all QoL stuff and fixes for bugs that I never ran into. There's no expansion of content or anything like that. Which means the current version is good enough.

There is actually a offical translation , its standard MTL i belive so this here is probely better, its a prolouge for a game that have been in creation for some time, this was created to gather funds.
The Dev have gotten voicing for this here game but he havent implemented it yet, its been 6 mounths so unsure what the wait is for.

The main story will be standard defeat a demon lord with her boyfriend and a muscular dude with big deck.
i dont think celias mother will have any relevance.
This game sucks in its gameplay but the art is good and so is the loli and it got the funds they needed by alot

Yea, the main game thats not released is based on a web novel. The link to it shoudl be on devs page somewhere.
