AI does degrade. If you create a custom model you have to retrain it every couple months, maybe weeks. I don't know if dev is using an abliterated model or what he uses to get through censorship but in all cases, that training itself lobotomizes the AI a bit. Sort of what happens with grok when it gets force fed a new algorithm.

You are right and wrong - you compare apples with pears. Local AI's work different than online AI's. It is comparable to a computer system that gets slower over time when you don't shut it down while local AI's are restarted after you've done what you wanted. It's rare that someone has an AI run 24/7 at home like GROK or ChatGPT do. Local AI use only the parameter saved in the model while GROK and co are learning and using yours and other users questions to learn and expand the database. BTW GROK and co are Large Language Models (LLM) that work differently than for example the WAN 2.1 model used by the Dev that is a generative AI like every AI model that works with images or videos. And btw even in that area there a specialized AI's. For example FLUX.1 is a text or image to image generative AI - while FLUX Kontext is a generative AI that is specialized into manipulating images (Changing faces, background, clothes etc.).
A local AI normally does not degrade, because it always uses the same data. The exception is if you use a LORA as an input on top of text and/or image and change the LORA or retrain it. In laymen term you can see a Lora as a database extension that change the weight of parameters inside the database. Codewords in the text prompt will be identified by the Lora and cause it to overwrite the default reaction of the model. There is for example a Lora you can add that reacts to 'bigtiddies' as codeword and will cause the model to create only images of women with big breasts when the codeword appears in the text prompt. But if that Lora was only trained on black colored women you will always get black women with big breasts and no white woman with big breasts and that is the only way a model can be degraded..... Retraining such a Lora with more variety of images will get you better results. But the reason for degrading is the bad Lora not the model.

Only played it a little so far, and like the scenes, though would love to see choices being available, so that you can go down different branches, albeit I suppose that might show up later?

That's why it's tagged as "Kinetic Novel". I'm not entirely sure why the RPG Maker engine was chosen, but if you walk across the map and click on certain things, you can access hidden scenes.

even novels can have more than one path you know, some of them have *multiple ending*(wow!)

This one is different and have slowburn progression but the AIcgs are great, and the MC always the same face/body ( Celina can be different from a scene to another)

Sazaar - I apologize for the lack of transparency. I was on vacation in the middle of October and have been working hard on the next update since returning home. The next update will be the end of Act 2 and is a bigger update overall which is certainly taking more time. Currently I'm up to 14 animations in the next update and will probably have 1-2 more before its done.
