Judging from the file size and this dev's website, this guy tends to make a lot of small, bite-sized games. Guess we're going to tell if they're the good or bad kind...

And it also has "ai cg" tag, so its another thing to help consider.

Hi, dev here.

That's true, I don't feel myself experienced enough to make bigger things, so I experiment with genres and formats to learn more and to test out different ideas (my first time working with actual action gameplay and attack patterns in this one).

This one was a long one, took it out from the drawer and reworked mechanics a few times. It has a mechanical base for something more, but just one boss encounter and story.

Hypothetically I could add more now, but I always wonder if it's a worthy project to continue or another one would be better for that purpose...

Okay, critic but not a full review to not tank the score of something that has potential.

The two biggest problems are handling and pacing.

Handling: It is borderline impossible to play without knowing the hitboxes. But the hitboxes are only revealed when pressing CLTR or something. That is bad design since the user will always loose without knowing why till he finds this out and then he will try to work that game while pressing that button but the visual clues are off since you still have the overlay of that girl which is not your hitbox.

Solution: Change the hitbox to reflect the girl or make the visual clues bigger.

Secondly you have a fire/close combat mode. Why? I mean I could not make the close combat work. It does not reflect bullets nor does it really help in fighting since being close means loosing.

Solution: You now start to fire all the time but if you do a melee attack it will now deflect bullets in a very small window in front of you.

Pacing: You are thrown immediately into combat. Maybe there was something in that wall of text that I did not read. But nobody will read that. It is a wall of text. Instead make a small tutorial level that starts easy and then slowly gets harder. That level is skippable once played for at least one time.

All in all I love that you made a new game. A game that is not just another RPGMaker game or just a bunch of prepackaged assets thrown together. For alone this I need to give you 3 stars. But that's it. This is undercooked and hard to play.
