I only play CK and this game.HHG a bit dissapointing because there is no harem ending and no pregnancy with the characters because of story whatsoever.Lesson of love,I didnt play it yet.

Well, it's rare that a game with the word harem in the title and between the tags doesn't have a harem ending. Personally, I took it for granted (harem ending).

Understandable, I was creeped out too at first.

First 80-90% of the game is a normal high quality VN with some cryptic messages here and there, then you get to full on horror scenes and they permeate into the regular scenes so every scene have something abnormal.

Well, it is clear to me again why I wasn't interested in the game.

The game has horror elements, and a bunch of cryptic stuff.
As a horror fan myself, I thought I'd love it, but from what i've played it just isn't worth the untold hours you have spend clicking through the same textboxes literally hundrends of times to get stuff to happen. I've never seen a more padded game in my life.
For people that think romance vn/horror is unique, they should just play doki doki literature club, which does the same concept ten times better, and doean't feel like the game is trying to waste your time.

I apologize to Zimon for continuing this conversation in his game thread, but I see this critique about LiL all the time. And if it isn't your cup of tea then that's fine, everyone has their preference. But I'm kinda tired of seeing it compared to doki doki. Just because they both have horror elements doesn't mean the concepts of the games are the same. And people who bring up doki doki as if it's like the horror golden standard of adult VN's seem to either forget or don't know that kimi to kanojo to kanojo no koi exists, which came out years before doki doki I might add, and is wayyy better imo. And that is a way closer and valid comparison than doki doki to LiL. Saying that LiL is a lower budget or lower tier version of doki doki, or trying to be doki doki, shows a real lack of understanding of the actual concepts of either game. If you don't like it because you feel there's too much grinding of stats, that's understandable. Or you might be a horror fan but don't like how the horror is created or implemented into the story, that is also understandable. But trying to compare it to another game ONLY because it possesses the similarity of having horror elements is really short sighted imo.

He just said that at the moment he prefers to avoid too long waits between one update and another because, based on the amount of reviews and comments on the game, the fan-base could abandon the project if there was too much to wait for the new update.
So he prefers to focus on shorter updates, which for obvious reasons does not allow the inclusion of content that carries the story forward in a considerable way. It's his choice and must be respected. It is equally right that on the part of the players there is the desire to continue with the story as well as deepen the knowledge with the girls. We just have to wait confidently for the next updates.

How do I find/unlock the last girl on the first page?

First of all, this IS a fictional porn game, so dont talk about logic or how things wold be/look in the real world. That's just make no sense to treat a fictional porn game like that.
Second. No one would talk about pregnancy IF developer would not "promise" that (in game) in the next update, as well as ability to invite girls in bed and sleep over with them.
As of now, there was several updates since that (including ath least 2 big ones), yet non of the "promises" was fulfilled.
And now developer starts to talk about how he CAN'T force what he promised in to the game... Despite the fact that he already revealed (in game) that pregnancy would serve as strengthening for girls and would reveal their hidden/latent powers (gives them new form/transformation ability). Not to say that I am a bit at lose how THAT could be hard to integrate in to game plot, since protagonist and his harem prepares to enter huge battle royale (competition) for the "Champion" title... I say that is perfectly goes with the plot so far and any even half-assed hero (unless he is damn japanese cherry boy pussy), would work EXTRA hard to knock all his harem beauties! Of course, since there will BE some who would start to "spit", that could be an optional way for girls to get stronger. But then, there should be next to no problem to integrate pregnancy in to plot, since it is OPTIONAL.

I think you guys misunderstood what I said, I said that "now", at this moment of the plot it is not possible to force it.
The ritual will be discovered due to devastating events that will involve its use. I can't force something that has to happen at a certain point in the story now. And then, I repeat, for those who want to have lewd with preggy girls, I included the potion event specifically to see if they liked it or not.

Here, I have to respect the decision of the majority and prefer the addition of sleep sex. Those future mechanics exist, they will come, but they have not won, or it is not yet time to put them in. If I hadn’t done the poll, I honestly would have put in a cooking mini-game for altered statuses.
Let’s talk about this pregnancy that you all want and I wouldn’t be respecting.
I’ve said many times that New Life will come, but it’s not time yet on a story level.
I can’t just randomly force things without a valid reason. Let’s say that in the next build you can evolve Izanami, with no explanation or reason. Izanami evolves, why? How did it happen? What mystical mystery lies behind this event? And I explain nothing, I just give it to you.
I try to accommodate you with Preg X Potion, a quick way to do it, and it’s no good.
Now, let’s not start saying that the developer of CoR doesn’t keep his promises, because I don’t think it’s nice since I’m trying to please everyone and respect the polls.

That I go underground and get labeled as someone who doesn’t make content.

I respect other games/devs, despite certain things, but do I really get 2 pages of posts talking about how this VN is high quality or how I don’t like this one, you’re right, no you’re wrong and more? And after you leave the off-topic, total silence, you wait for the next version. There are a lot of hints or secrets to talk about, which would easily bring the thread to over 200 pages, but nothing. We get active to say this VN is the best and that another one is not. That's just the prologue and it's huge.

Yes, some people won't like it, and some people will leave bad reviews (honestly I never even look at reviews or ratings when deciding to play a game, most of them aren't useful), and that's just something you have to accept. It's important to remember that the customer is not always right, the best games are made by devs who have a clear idea of what they want.

Make the game you want to make and people with the same tastes will love it, sure you'll disappoint some people but the alternative of trying to please everyone is just going to end up with a game that everyone thinks is "meh".

Also, you can't force people to discuss your game, it will happen or it won't, with no rhyme or reason and there's not much you can do about it.

I can only speak for myself here, but I, for the overwhelming majority of the time, prefer to read discussions/theories/assumptions that other people contribute with rather than come up with and present my own. At that point, I will usually contribute with my 2 cents, but I will not be the one who starts it, unless I do it by accident, like by asking a question that everyone has been thinking about but no one bothered/dared to ask, then all of a sudden there's a debate going on. It's rare but it happened before.

This doesn't mean I don't like the game/show/book or whichever form of media I'm interacting with, it's just the way I am. I really can't explain it in more detail because I honestly never gave it much thought, it's just a part of my personality I made peace with a long time ago. In class, I used to be that guy in the back row by the window/corner who never produced a whisper unless the teacher fingered him (and I don't mean the fun way).

And I feel you about the lockdown. I haven't set foot outside this house since April. As an introvert/hermit, I thought it would be heaven at first. I'm over it now. I miss my nature hikes.

Instead of trying to do one thing per update and get complains about missing the others, maybe try to reduce the update frequency and add some things for all 4 aspects (main story, character development, events & sex). This should reduce the "but i wanted this, not that" complains significantly and would provide the bonus of longer gameplay per update. For you/devs it is work and takes time, but player who only check the changelog and seek for the new stuff are done in 5-15 minutes. Personally i skip sex only updates from all games because thats not why i play games, thats a bonus i run into on my way, but if there is no way it is also no bonus.

I already posted my thoughts about the preg stuff, but i forgot the future thing ingame (i dont spoiler myself, i think i looked there on my first play but never again). After reading and remembering about it i still think you should take your time, for now the development of the charas and story is much more important and like you said, the preg content will be on the way, so dont rush things, better it makes sense than having to fix bridging errors or confuse new players.

I dont see a problem with the writing except for a few typos, but thats pretty common and i'm used to it, so i dont need to say more about it...the only partially problem i see are wrong/switching names in dialogues, but thats more on the coding site instead of writing.

Dont let stupid comments drag you down. Every game has some assholes who get off by posting bullshit, some never play the games they rate and do it just to be annoying. Your game has lots of fans, so ignore those who dont share our exquisite taste.
And ignore the mods...from my experience they only delete stuff they dont like personally while rule breaking is mostly okay, except for rule 7...lets see if you get the chance to read this post before a mod comes along ^^

I will agree with the others saying that pleasing everyone is impossible, and that shouldn't be your goal. Specially when it comes to lewds and priorities, you will just get a bunch of mixed messages. For example, the other guy is making a huge deal out of the pregnancy thing, and I don't care about it at all. In the end, It's your preferences and vision that should matter the most.
If you listen to EVERYONE, you will end up having some old fat dude blackmailing Izanami and fucking her in the ass...

As I've said in the past, people will always complain about something. It happens in every thread in this forum. I think the game has improved a lot but I would agree with Virulenz that maybe having less frequent updates with more content would probably be better. You will never be able to please everyone that is a battle that every dev will always lose, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't listen to fan's feedback but if you focus too much on what everyone wants, you will just make yourself go crazy.
