Yeah, the game isn't being abandoned, the dev is just going on a little break.

I noticed you said the game "updates weekly" in your first post, so I think you might be confusing it with another game that uses the same character creator as a base, "Corrupted Kingdoms".
If I recall correctly, that game DOES update weekly with smaller amounts of content, and this one takes a bit longer between updates but adds more at once.

There are still weekly updates, but now they follow a big small cycle. So every other week there is a big update with lots of content, then the weeks in between have smaller updates. For example 0.52 had only bugfixes, ui improvements, and internal code reworks. Where 0.51 had4 new events, bug fixes, a jukebox (thanks to masterdragonson) and many other additions. With the exception of a few situations in the last few months the updates have been every week for the last year.

Either way take the time you need. We can wait. Well, it's not that we have a choice but on principal what I am saying is that we won't physically die, get ill, miscarry or anything like that if you take some time off. Even if we will admittedly be eager for more updates. But you get the point lest I belabor it too much by rambling off a page worth of text.

All I can say is that the 0.53 plan is a big one, there are many new features coming, some of which even the Patrons haven't seen yet.

It's not a cheat code, it's only meant to fix Ren'Py bugs. It will break progression i.e. if you haven't finished the game when you use it you won't be able to on that save.

Bugged in what way? Are scenes you know you did still locked? And if so is the event viewer also showing those events as red?

You could try extracting that to
'Android/data/com.zimon.championofrealms/files/'

Otherwise you can use a persistent save. However I have heard Android 10+ users have more restricted file exploring.

Wouldn't using a persistent cause issues since the save files handle the gallery now, which is why it can only be viewed with a save loaded?

Android 10 should be fine, that's what I use. It's android 11 where they added all the scoped files and restricted access to android/data. Half of the built in file browsers couldn't even access it. I've also heard that saves are stored in android/renpy as opposed to the com.xxx locations, but haven't had enough people with A11 to confirm that.

After the meeting with the girls keep progressing though the story. You will get a new signal in the meeting room and that will eventually lead you to hell.
