Why add Emiko to the main LI list (with a completely empty page) just to kill her off soon after?

I think it is a combination of 2 reasons:
1. probably bad planning. I suspect he didn't intend for it at first. then when he got the idea he decided to keep it on purpose for reason 2.
2. to trick the player into caring about her so it wrings more emotions from them she is killed.

I am kinda annoyed because I saw her getting a bad end coming (although I assumed it would be something other than death. like rape and torture), and wanted to warn her... but I was railroaded into being an idiot in the game. This really disconnected me from the MC.

That is not consistent ... be consistent !
Just eyes, horns, ears, and tails work for every other character, why is Maribel singled out?

Then why not make all animal characters have animal parts beyond ears/tail, just like you are messing up Maribel, by giving them all animal legs...

...no need to go back and redo scenes that way.

At this point it has gotten so damn large! Stupid dev should just release a patch to overwrite previous version with the new files.. why make anyone download the huge damn file all over? Any file compare software like Beyond Compare will show changed files.. remove all the rest not changed.. zip it up.. you have a patch!

I think the Saved Name for the Gallery gets set when you Load a Save.
Though the console code for it is

$ persistent.mc = "MC Name"

Make new list of those lines
Replace those commands with 'renpy.game.persistent._seen_ever['
Adjust closing brackets
Start game and see if any scenes were missed

It's not too difficult to understand that Maeve is directly linked to the MC's past and Zimon will hide it there with all his might until the last moment.
