I think it is a combination of 2 reasons:
1. probably bad planning. I suspect he didn't intend for it at first. then when he got the idea he decided to keep it on purpose for reason 2.
2. to trick the player into caring about her so it wrings more emotions from them she is killed.

I am kinda annoyed because I saw her getting a bad end coming (although I assumed it would be something other than death. like rape and torture), and wanted to warn her... but I was railroaded into being an idiot in the game. This really disconnected me from the MC.

I suspect it's reason 2, otherwise she'd at least have some information on her profile, I'm really mad that he did that, but now that she's dead she shouldn't be revived, but seeing as she was buried in a crystal that wouldn't let her body decay, that might just be what's going to happen anyway.

I hope the next few updates focus a lot on scenes and progression for the LIs, because a lot of them have little or no progression right now, mainly just enough progression to add their profile to the list.

sorry, I phrased it poorly. I meant "and" rather than "or".
I think he initially didn't plan it out, but then when he got the idea to kill her off decided to intentionally lean on the GUI to make it very clear she is a waifu. As a means of getting you emotionally invested for her death

That is not consistent ... be consistent !
Just eyes, horns, ears, and tails work for every other character, why is Maribel singled out?

Then why not make all animal characters have animal parts beyond ears/tail, just like you are messing up Maribel, by giving them all animal legs...

...no need to go back and redo scenes that way.

[I may be miss remembering Maribel, I could of swarn she was humanoid with human feet/hands, maybe it wasn't all shown yet]

At this point it has gotten so damn large! Stupid dev should just release a patch to overwrite previous version with the new files.. why make anyone download the huge damn file all over? Any file compare software like Beyond Compare will show changed files.. remove all the rest not changed.. zip it up.. you have a patch!

No thx, i tend to delete everything besides the save folder after hitting the end of content...diskspace is valuable ;)

You know the dev won't come here to read any form of comments or bugs or whatever, you'd better write elsewhere, and then it's just holstaur legs, it's still a monster girl

It's not too difficult to understand that Maeve is directly linked to the MC's past and Zimon will hide it there with all his might until the last moment.
