VN - Ren'Py - Champions of Liberty Institute of Training [v0.83] [yahotzp]

This game has a good wibe. Even if I don't like everything about it, it's really enjoyable. For now, there"s a lot of different stats that block or open some choices. Given that the game is far from finish now I don't really know if this game will be "non walkthrough friendly" or not.
Personnaly, I'll wait some more to see if I can play this game "my way" or if you need to play by the book (or with cheat) to see the content you want.
Story, characters, world building is nice, sex definitely here and enloyable. 5stars potential but not yet for me.

This is a good game, I haven't played too many games with female protags, but this one I think is great, you have a very good amount of choices, and consequences, the renders are very good, the characters are interesting, my only problem is with the amount of point-based variables, but that is only because it blocks some choices, and it is very clear when you get point but hard to keep track off without going into the stats menu and even then you would need very good memory or keep notes because of the number of variables, also the new RGN shower thing, those are some things that I don't like much but aren't bad, actually it is refreshing to see a non-sandbox game use this so it loses no points, I really like that we were given the choice to be faithful so all the love to the dev for that, and I think that is it, I really like it, I've got some question though so I'll maybe edit this later.

I'm really enjoying this game. As far as I can tell, it take place in an alternate universe in which superheroes exist, but men don't exist. (How does pregnancy and reproduction work? Who knows? Don't question it, just go with the flow).

There are a LOT of characters. Making virtually all the characters superheroes , though, makes it easier to keep track of which character is which. And it helps that the game is well-written enough so that distinct personalities emerge. (The english is perfect, by the way.)

Not that the writing is deep (or is trying to be). This is a silly, friendly game in which women have a lot of cheerful lesbian sex, in various combinations, and enjoy it. Most of it is ordinary human sex, not superhero sex, but there's at least one sex scene which makes very use of how different character's powers can interact.

This is also a game where your decisions matter; the decisions you make will change your relationships, and which scenes you get to see.

The art is well done and, I think, gets a little better as it goes on.

Downsides: The choice to make everything POV - we're always looking out of the main character's eyes - leads to including some pictures, during sex scenes, that are way more bewildering than sexy. If the developer would allow some scenes to have third-person views, that would add a lot of visual variety and make the sex scenes clearer.

There's no hints, and the one walkthrough I found - although helpful - was incomplete. Unless you're very determined, there are going to be scenes you miss.

There's no gallery.

There's a minor bug - at one point, during the naming ceremony (you'll recognize it when you get to it), I clicked and clicked and spacebarred and it didn't advance, leaving me stuck on that page. Eventually I figured out that the enter key would get me past that page.

On the whole, a really enjoyable game for people looking for some friendly, well-done lesbian porn strung together by a reasonably lighthearted story. I'll be downloading the updates for sure.

I dunno how far into the game we are and how ling it's going to be when complete, but this game already has a lot of replay value just on all the choices you can make alone.

This VN is a great take on fun, cute, and interesting stories. Each character is unique and an interesting style. The game play is fun with the story progressing and changing based on choices. I am looking forward to seeing this title develop. And seeing where the story takes us!

The game is not perfect, i feel it still needs some polish. I am giving it 5 stars because it is very fun. I was amused and entertained while playing this and to me that is more important than perfect grammar, models or story.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.029...

After reading the only review and the fact that it had a superpower theme, I thought I'ld give this one a go... It is still really early in it's production, but I was expecting it to be better then it was...

The character visuals for the most part are very good, although a few characters have exaggerated faces that look rather fake... A little too much tweaking... The backdrops are a mix of unique ones as well as several I've seen many other times in other VN/Games... There are some very short animations, mostly when characters are just talking with the female protagonist... The whole repeating sway during most dialogue scenes between the protagonist and various characters, albeit different, didn't really feel right, and in my opinion could have just been stills, and felt more natural during basic inter-character dialogue... The Stats UI is very basic, but works perfectly fine for it's purpose... There were some images that were too dark to really figure out what was actually going on, beyond the text, mostly near the end when some of the closet kissing scenes play out...

The script barely had any grammar or spelling errors, but the writing style was very basic... Much of the character dialogue felt artificial and predictable... It kind of feels like a man was writing a story about stereotyped lesbians... Even the title feels very artificial, as all the characters kept referring to the school as being called CLIT which is rather far fetched (who calls a school CLIT and thinks that sounds Heroic?)... I can see the school being called just Liberty Institute of Training, and the word "Champion" just being exclusively in the title alone... But even the title sound odd, since the word "of" appears twice in the title only being 2 words apart, which in itself, makes the title sound a bit like broken english...

The story is about a female protagonist with the ability to borrow others superpowers when she kisses them... Both her and her sister are accepted into a school to train other female super powered people... She is also in a relationship (feels more like just a sexual relationship then a real girlfriend regardless of how many times they say they love each other) with another woman, who she now has a long distance relationship with... From there, the current content mostly revolves around character introductions, as well as getting the player/reader used to the dynamics of how the various Stat increases and decreases work, based on the choices you make...

Stats appear to be a major factor in both choice selection, and I'm sure it will also gate content... There is not much content gated at the moment, but there were a few choices gated, based on stats, as well as some of the choices you make... So being overly slutty in all the choices, may come back to bite you, so be aware... I'm currently unsure if the eventual game mechanics will be of an open world grindy style, or sticking with the current content's visual novel style... We'll have to wait and see what the future holds as development continues...

You can pretty much tell from the current content, that this VN/Game is leaning more towards the Porn Fest side... There is definitely a corruption element to this VN/Game, just based on the stats that pop up with some of the choices, both for the protagonist as well as the various characters...It's rare to see female protagonist in these erotic VN/Games done in a way that feels genuine (such as how this one does not)... I suspect, based on what I've seen thus far, that since it's focusing way more on the porn aspects, that the female protagonist is going to fall into the same pit traps we typically see with most of these VN/Games involving a female protagonist... The visuals alone scream over the top porn fest...

Overall, this VN/Game is just getting started, but first impressions were a mixed bag... For the moment the story telling feels a bit fake, and some events feel a bit fast paced... Which is typical of most average porn focused VN/Games... There is a story being told, but for the moment it's a bit flimsy and doesn't feel like it's going to have much depth... But, it's still really early in development, so who really knows if all the current content will stay as is, get revamped, or turned into something more than what it currently seems... I do wish the developers the best of luck, and perhaps at some point down the line I might revisit this one... It is a superhero VN/Game after all...

This game is one of the good ones.

CLIT takes the form of a superheroine rpg. This is in the purest sense because choices matter and paths with significant differences will be opened or closed based on your decisions. The wide variety of options, like the previous game VULVA, encourage you to do multiple playthroughs and save often. Like VULVA this game features a host of gorgeously rendered ladies of all races with unique designs, personalities and stories that makes to you want to try them all. There are no males in this game as it is a continuation of the VULVA universe. So far each path is exciting enough that you don't feel like you are shortchanged with any particular choice. For example, there is an adorable shy girl that turns into a musclar she-hulk when aroused or there is the slutty domanatrix that will gladly fuck you on first sight, or perhaps you turn the tables on her and make her wait for it. Or maybe you want to choose to slowly seduce your hot tsundere sister. The options are numerous.

As stated before, the characterization is good. Each character has a distinct personality. They aren't all mindless sluts nor are they prudes that you have to grind for hours for them to reveal a nipple. The sexual content is constant. The corruption and the escalation of scenes is gradual for some characters and there are some you can go all the way with quite quickly. The game also maintains a good air of sexual tension with all the teasing between scenes. For example there is a lot of flirting, nudity, xray vision, voyeurism etc.

The sex scenes are pretty good. The permanent first person perspective allows you to see lesbian sex in a way that you usually don't get to and most of the time it is very hot and well done. There are even some instances where mirrors help you get a 3rdperson angle. Still some things can look awkward in first person especially kissing and generally, lesbian 1st person may be off putting for some.

Overall, this game is great so far and its only at its 3rd version release. The lore, the characters and the sex are intriguing. It has lots of choices, naughty and nice, and the game doesn't have any painfully dull mechanics like repetitive grinding or making the player hunt large maps to find a sliver of content. Its just a great sexy game for lesbian lovers.
