Back in the old days people didn't see each other naked before they were married.
It was like "surprise" on your wedding night, and at that point it was too late to back out.
And to make matters worse, people didn't have the opportunity to see lots of naked people like they do today.
So on your wedding night, your spouse was one of the first nude people you'd ever seen, and you didn't have a lot to compare them to.
nowadays, you can go on the internet and check out millions of nudes and find your favorites.
I don't mean find your favorite person, this goes way beyond simple objectification.
You can take it much further... I like these eyes, I like these breasts, I like this kind of ass...
Build your perfect mate, a la carte.
The problem is, that level of perfection doesn't exist is the real world. You go out and meet someone with a face to your liking, and cross your fingers, that the rest of her is just as nice, but then you get her back to the hotel and ewww. As the clothes start coming off there's more and more wrong with her. It's getting to the point where a guy just can't find a girl anymore. They all turn out to be 2/10 would not bang.
Don't think that this is a male thing... women are far more critical than men are.
This further complicates things, because the minute you lower your expectations, and say this one will do... suddenly, you don't live up to her expectations.
The obvious logical answer to this problem is to not limit yourself to a single choice. One girl that's good upstairs, and one that's good downstairs. You get the best of both worlds.
The same goes for women. Two men are better than one, right?
Two women, two men, one house. It's win-win. She has her BFF, you have your BFF.
If she has a headache, you have her BFF, and so on. The four of you work different shifts.
