Really wish I could edit the save file for a smoother/easier start (or to save my ass if I mismanage and start hemorrhaging resources), but the saves being .json files that seemingly open in a different language doesn't make that easy.
Honestly the type of game that could use cheats regardless, feels like a no-brainer when even retail simulation games like Zoo Tycoon would let you fuck around with that.
It doesn't seem to be a real .json. Or at least it's encrypted.
But it doesn't seem that the game needs a smoother start. Due to (lack of) automation, my establishment is one manager-worker pair that pays for everybody else - janitor, guard, gatherer, and my ambitions too.

Just use cheat engine and find which one is which

Any way to change the player character's name? Seeing that [You] is kind of jarring, but I see no option to re-name unlike the generic employees.

EDIT: As the post below me pointed out, that's a work assignment, not a name change. So yeah, the [You] thing is really awkward, why not name the protagonist, or let us name her in the intro?

That button is not for re-naming, it's for changing jobs. But the main character is always a special worker.

Alright. After 30 minutes of gameplay, the game became unplayable due to bugs. A Manager that I set back to Worker not recognized as worker anymore and I keep getting that "can't unassign manager" error. The entrance area stopped being recognized as an entrance area at some point and as a work room instead. The girls keep having pathing problems and are unable to "hit" the rooms assigned to them. Those that do hit their rooms occasionally just stand there and wait for... something, instead of working. Re-clicking them doesn't help.
A lot of potential, but way too scuffed at the moment once you start working with 6+ girls.
Automating the gameplay feels mandatory. A manager needs to "control" like 3 girls at once at least or something. Even trying to click the proper girl and a client later is an issue when there's like 10 of people in a single room.

Honestly, most, if not all, of the problems could be fixed if you could upgrade the girls somehow to think for themselves, pick clients, lead them to rooms, and then out of them... are they all like retarded or something?

Really like games like Monster black market but damn in this game there just too much and too little at same time.
Game cute and all but...
Manager is useless, You need to do so damn many different actions to serve just one client, there is no indicators of how much tired the worker or how much dirty the room is -> when blue face appear its mean she already at 0% and you will understand that room is dirty when everybody is losing their morale, guards just stand in front of door and lose morale cuz it always dirty and the day you remove them there will be a damn raid of "X people", to build something you need gold/wood/rock/cloth but last 3 can be bought with gold - why don't just buy new rooms with gold then?.

Most problems could be fixed if rooms were instead of jobs, and guest auto-leave.
  • Work and personal Room: You set girl to her room and she just works, when tired - goes to her personal room to rest.
  • Desk room and waiting: Manager stands in front of desk: tells guest(s) to which room they can go, if none - waiting until there is, if too many visitors they wait in the waiting room until they can stand in queue to manager.
  • Security room: Girls are set as guards stays at doors and auto-kick X-mans (or: Girls patrol whole house and kick people who don't pay, make problems or don't leave.)
  • Cleaning room: girls who set to this room will go clean rooms which are below certain %

it's encrypted so you can't modify it , I've been trying to bruteforce the decryption key for 2 days now with gpt's help . still didn't find the full key. but the moment I get it I'll just post a full cheat savefile here.

You can see how tired your workers are from the button on the bottom-right with a woman on it.
You can see how dirty the rooms are by right-clicking on them.
Both are awfully inconvenient.
Having to order the janitor all around the place manually is also annoying.

ok yeah I figured it out and sadly the saves don't contain anything related to the gallery ,the gallery is actually a registry .
a registry that only gets updated the moment you BUY a monstergirl or when you experience a cutscene for the first time.

here's an almost done registry just execute it it should do the rest for you.

Alright... Wow...
I'm amazed that from the early builds of the game, all that really seemed to change was more content. It's a very... Rough game... And not in the fun way.

Took me ages to realize about the job change too. A pencil icon right besides the name implies renaming and not a core and necessary feature.

The game only ever accepts mouse inputs for menu. Buying things at the market is miserable, how did that ever made past testing? Even as a solo dev, I cannot believe the entire notion of buying things exclusive once at a time, with a prompt telling you about each individual purchase and requiring a confirmation at the EXACT button that's on the other side of the screen each time never really came up... How? Seriously. I don't get it. I could only conceive that if it's meant to be intentionally annoying.

Also, I can accept that automating the process is something you have to unlock. But that doesn't excuse the entire manual controls having to be that bad either. Having to manually escort the clients to the entrance is just an odd decision all around.

And the whole Hygiene and Comfort mechanics... Hoo boy... No way to automate this one. Have a janitor. Click them. Click the room. Select clean. Wait for it, all the while the room is inoperable. And then repeat that for every single fucking room of your brothel, every day, during work hours. With no way to automate. No way to clean stairs either, those are meant to either just stay fucked up, or be replaced every day.

There's also the slight issue of managing your employees, but I can see how that would be overlooked in a... Management game... Really? A single big-ass stack list with no sorting or search function? No way to batch assign? Have to look each and every one to be reminded which ones require an individual room?

Worse still that those somehow aren't the only core features missing for a game of this genre. No breakdown of total costs? Food consumption/generation? Projected income? The ability to move rooms instead of having to delete and rebuild? Employees that require an individual room can only be assigned a room if they are workers, however, the room NEEDS to be assigned even if they work off-site.

And that's not counting the different ways the game broke. Some clients just hang and freeze the game at expedient end. Some buttons suddenly become un-clickable. Employees bugging out and staying at the opposite end of where they should be assigned. The front door sometimes just glitches out and spam "too crowded for clients to come it" even though there only a single guard and a single controller there. And sometimes just popping a huge UE error console while the game runs on the background and the brothel stays open outside of works hours.

Look, I really, really hate being negative. Whenever possible I try to be encouraging and understanding. But this is supposed to be a finished build. It's being sold. And it's the second one, after a first attempt that had several poor design decisions as well. I love the artstyle, but as games these just don't work. They're actively frustrating more often than not, and makes me wish for a gallery unlock right away, because that's only really enjoyable part of the whole thing.

but anyways I do get your frustration over the really really complicated for nothing features of the game and it's mechanics.

A review wasn't what I was aiming for really. I usually just post feedback or really gush about the ones I like. But this game is so unbelievably broken that simply listing the things off the top of my head is already an essay by itself (and amazingly enough, I could keep going about bad/nonexistent features and bugs). Although I see the dev is already at it with another game, I think any feedback would fall on deaf ears anyway... Let's hope there's an improvement this time, but I'm not holding my breath.

Let it stand as a caveat emptor. If anyone wants to give this a try... Just look for a gallery unlock. lol
